I think this coffee is eating my stomach lining. Too bad it's not doing its job in the meantime.

I had dinner at a restaurant owned by Tom Douglas, a famous chef from Seattle. I chose the wood-smoked grilled Alaskan king salmon, which was on a bed of a arugula bread salad with chantarelles and chevres. The fish was cooked a perfect medium-rare with wonderful flavors, and it pretty much melted in my mouth. Best tasting fish I've had.

The other stuff on the dish weren't really my thing. I could have just eaten the fish on its own.

Mediocre Indian food and year-old (too sweet) lemon-flavoured wedding cake.

Cold leftover pizza from the other day and a tall pint of Guinness, the dessert of champion graphic artists who finish large jobs.

Toasted focaccia bread with butter and raspberry preserves, and spicy chai tea with a bit of cream.

No, I'm at home until Saturday. That was a mid-afternoon snack.
