I had dinner at a restaurant owned by Tom Douglas, a famous chef from Seattle. I chose the wood-smoked grilled Alaskan king salmon, which was on a bed of a arugula bread salad with chantarelles and chevres. The fish was cooked a perfect medium-rare with wonderful flavors, and it pretty much melted in my mouth. Best tasting fish I've had.
The other stuff on the dish weren't really my thing. I could have just eaten the fish on its own. |
