I actually do wish I could take an ID picture like that, or sticking my tongue out or something.

Unfortunately the DMV (and US Immigration) requires you to have the blankest expression as possible - no smiling. This is so you'll be better identified. According to them, who the hell ever goes around with a permanent grin on their face?

A strange thing I've noticed is that I tend to hold my head up these days, as opposed staring at my feet which was what I used to do in my early and later teens.
