Nice shade of blue, AFGNsie, but quite lacking in form and clarity: 5/10.

:shifty: And no, I do not work for Gamespot.

Was wondering when you'd post, Trep. I've always liked your avatars. So random. This one's a bit lacking, though. 6/10.

Ninth 06-24-2005 10:18 AM

Ok, so for those who can't see Jennifer Connelly...

AFGNCAAP 06-24-2005 10:27 AM

In that case, ignorance was bliss... :shifty:

Hard to tell in the small version, but this is a picture by Nick Knight of para-athlete and model Aimee Mullins (brief bio). I believe she was born without fibula in her lower legs, which had to be amputated when she was a year old. She has since studied at Georgetown University, become a 'Paralympian' athlete and participating in competitions, and is a top high fashion model.

Oh, and 7/10 for you av, SNM. Well composed but rather predictable.

Why make it red, though?

Hm. Very interesting pick for an avatar. In that case, 9/10.

;) She's pretty hot, isn't she?

SamNMax 06-24-2005 11:22 AM

Hot indeed.

squarejawhero 06-24-2005 11:45 AM

4/10 for Treps. I'm sorry, but I usually think you're are stunningly done with great composition and clarity, but this one's... well... meh! Sorry.

edit - Actually, Aimee is pretty damn hot. She was in that wierd art movie Cremaster 3 where she chopped potatoes with glass leg stilletoes - might be right up your ally, Trep!

Damn freaky film. Still haven't seen it as the images freak me out too much!

Intrepid Homoludens 06-24-2005 11:48 AM

3.5/10

Your wine is most likely stale by now. :D

Yeah. She's hot to me 'cause she does all those things with a relish for adventure. :9

squarejawhero 06-24-2005 11:51 AM

That was a revenge vote! Didja check out the links?

SamNMax 06-24-2005 11:53 AM

Looks like one of those student films from spoiled brats who call themselves "non-conformists"

I know all about Matthew Barney. He's hot, too. His works have this strange erotic effect on me.

squarejawhero 06-24-2005 12:00 PM

I he placed some importance on getting in a proper narrative, then I think he could rival Kubrick. A lot of Cremaster is totally full of astounding imagery, but as Sam said, it is a little bit too wanky. Only Cremaster 3 seems to have anything that you could follow.

Intrepid Homoludens 06-24-2005 12:06 PM

Av changed. ;)

SamNMax 06-24-2005 12:06 PM

You've done changed avs on us, Trep!

I like it. 8/10.

squarejawhero 06-24-2005 12:08 PM

Much better. As above. :D
