Flattery will get you everywhere, sweet ladies. Thank you.
Heh, believe me, it's starting to lighten up quite nicely with the little greys creeping in. That was just low light. Quote:

That's a great pic Bullsie! I'm so envious you can walk outside in summer sandals.
*looks out the window and sees spots of snow on the lawn* Tomorrow we're going back home and I hear it's quite nice and warm there.

How I would love to have it that warm and nice! Not every day of the year, but at least during summertime.

82 degrees! How can you stand that! Here it was 25 yesterday, which is nice and good. Today it will be colder again though; we get wind from Jelena .

This is me, fresh from the hospital:
I have to have this for 6 weeks! Bloody hell. But still I feel proud like a twelve-year-old I will ask all my friends to write their name on my cast! |

But 82 degrees F is equal to 27.7 C if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, they have a small pond there where I love to sit watching the insects and fish and frogs and salamanders. There's not much wrong, luckily. Some of the tendons have been overstreched a bit, and there is a lot of fluid inside. But for the rest everything looked fine on the X-ray pictures.I have to come back to the hospital next week so they can check if the swelling has reduced. If it has (which I think will happen) they will give me a new cast. If not I have to walk around with this one for 5 more weeks. Pain Boy is watching from a small distance, sulking because he was slain in this way. Last edited by tsa; 04-26-2011 at 09:18 AM. |

yes 82 degrees is hot to me. I wear shorts year around even in the winter months. The winter here are kind of cold around 10 - 25 degrees, but the heat is just horriable
I would love to sign your cast tsa............

tsa: I'd gladly sign your cast if I weren't so far away. Hope everything works out, and that you've seen the last of Pain Boy. I know that's probably too much to ask, but still, one can hope. Meanwhile, keep on smiling, man. It suits you.

Thanks Lee. Pain Boy will certainly not go away, but it's nice to have him at a distance for a while. And I keep smiling, although sometimes it's hard. For instance, I can't drive my beloved car for 6 weeks! That is very inconvenient for me because walking and biking is hard for me even without the cast. Just a few minutes ago I tried to get into my car, and I just fit on the back seat with my leg streched over the whole width of the car. So I can be driven around, luckily. This is the first time I am happy that my car has something that resembles a back seat!

Tsa-you look awesome.

*laughs* Thanks tsa. I really appreciate you watching it. And I'm not really like that! I would never hurt my husband.
