Thanks for the picture Giligan. You look very nice. And don't worry about looking younger than your age. Believe me, you'll love it when you reach your 40s and you still look like 25.

I might be strung up by my bits for this, but here's a lovely picture of my lovely lady, holding the very same Snorkle cat she named her forum profile after.

When we first saw little Snorkie (his real name is Virgil), we were on the highway on our way to Cape Town, and he was airborne. In fact, when we saw this tiny little black object tumbling horizontally through the air, we weren't even really aware that it was a cat at first.

See, some children were trying to kill him, by hurling him in front of traffic. He was but 6-ish weeks old, but had some sense to stay on the center line till traffic passed, before he bolted across the road and up a tree. I plucked him from the tree, and then chased after the rotten children. I would rather not elaborate on my rage.

So, to the vet we went, had him flea-powder bombed, checked for injuries and such, and he went to the library with us, hanging out on the shelves, then went to the park, we fed him, and then took him home. We discussed finding him a home, but I think we were kidding ourselves. He fit right in at our house and is living with us now, more than a year later.

Here he is with Findlay, our largest fuzzball.

Snorkie is the sweetest little guy you will ever meet. He loves everybody, and will come up to you, reach up and hug you, little front legs wrapped around your waist, head on your tummy.

I still get pissed off when I think that someone actually wanted to kill him for fun, and they laughed about it. But then, he probably does not even remember that experience, or his early life, and remains the most delightful little character.

That's a lovely family you have there jacog.
Reading about how you rescued your cat makes me have another go with Mr J who refuses to take care of our neighbour's neglected (but fed) cat that really wants to live in our house as it seems.

Are you looking for the picture on page 99? If so, you won't see it. I'll try to see if I can get it back up. I don't know if you've tried scrolling up to Jelena's post on this page, as it seems to be up there. Let me know if you can't see it up there, and I'll just PM it to you and save us all a lot of trouble.

Well since We're doing kitty pics mught as well throw mine in the ring.
Here we ahve our 'official' cat Mac (All of our cats get named after cookies, Mac= Macaroon) donning his rabbit skin cape (well, pelt) that I bought. Doesn't he look barbarian.

Then there are 2 'unofficial' cats that have no name due to the fact that we have no idea where they came from and we only feed them when they show up.
We see this one only 2 or 3 times a week and it will rarely let us pet it. We call it Leopard kitty. I swear she has to be a Bengal. She had a brother but he has not been here in several months.

And then we have Black Kitty who comes by at least once a day to mooch a meal. She comes in the house rarely and is always ready to leave when she does.
