My jaw has dropped. If you haven't signed up, do so now on animationnation.com and get yourself known.
Jesus, if you're not doing this professionally I'd like to know why. You're not in animation are you? Storyboarding et al?

BTW this is my first cintiq sketch, threw it on my homepage for no real reason. Took me five/ten mins in a lunchtime, used someone elses -
You can tell I used it like a pencil. The same model, on a Mac. The guy designs for Pixar and uses it a lot, in fact so much his screen needs replacing. It's remarkably intuitive and fun so do try one out! Ebay is your best bet for the cheaper models, but if you've got the money go for a new one. I hear they're even better and offer higher resolutions.

Looking superb!
And i'm glad you like comic! Yeah, i'm freelancer..actually i'm working part time for some little animation studio (mostly animations and illustrations). The thing is, i would do it anyway, so hey, why not cash it out! Btw, where are you working? About Cintiq- agree! If i'll decide i'll probably buy a new one.. after all, i'm always a bit sceptic about buying such stuff over Ebay.. Also, just checked out animationnation, looks great! I'll register right away |

I'm working as a freelancer for a studio producing a three series run of half-hour CG/2D programmes. Can't say more than that.
If you need help registering with animationnation let me know.

Try skwigly.co.uk as well. If you want help registering on AN just ask, I'll see what I can do.

Here's my wee little portfolio, if you will. It barely makes for a portfolio, seeing as it's very small. But have a look see, anyway. It's basically two pieces of actual finished art, a couple of links to comics I've done and some daily sketches.
Also, Igor and Squarejaw. Your art blows me away. That Kommando, the Ignac 2 sneak-peek. Absolutely breath-taking.

£2.50 gets you the only UK (and as far as I know EU) based magazine on professional animation on the planet.

Igor did Ignac.
BTW Igor, I just can't put into words how great I think your work is. Join Animation Nation, it's worth it. I personally think you'll find work in no time - you've got a great Chris Sanders-esque linestyle that I totally love.

No, seriously i keep getting "We are not accepting new registrations at this time" message.. Quote:
There's Ignac2 (or let's say full version of game) in work for quite some time now.. and there's even a chance it might be finished if we finally find a sponsor. If you know anyone with lots of cash and love for independent adventure games, let me know! You can find (quite old) animated intro teaser, here: http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/trailer.htm Last edited by Igor; 06-05-2005 at 11:16 AM. |

I can try to sort you out a registration. Would you mind my posting a piece of your art and a website link in the gallery? Good advertising for you, and I PROMISE I'll say I did it.
... ... uh... didn't do it.
