Why do you like them wormsie? I can't decide for myself whether it's the actual sound of the bagpipes or the Scottish kilts that usually accompany them. I think part of their charm would disappear without the men in skirts element.

I love all kinds of musical instruments . Somehow bagpipes sound kinda romantic to me.
[imagines hot Scotsman in a kilt joining him for drinks in a pub]

If I had the choice, and I couldn't be Indian, I'd want to be Scottish.

They're alright, but I prefer the banjo. No, really.

In a good way. There's a brilliant bagpipe solo in Farmer's Market's "For a Few Rubels More", that's the main reason...

I like all instruments, including the accordian. However, the sax and I do not get along most of the time.

I hate em, they sound awful and they rarely let up, just a wall of screechy noise to me. It sounds like (hypothetically, don't try this at home kids) a man blowing hot air into a pregnant cat's arse.

Like Trepsie, I find the guy in the kilt to be a little young for my taste, but if he sent me a drink I'd certainly go talk to him. Now what was this thread about? Ah yes, "Bagpipes"...hate 'em. To me, they sound like a cat in a blender. If anyone dares play them at my funeral, I'll rise up out of my coffin, snatch the offending instrument from it's player, and stomp the infernal thing into the ground. Only then will I be able to "rest in peace". But hey, to each his own. Thrifty

My Dad being scottish from Nova Scotia family, I love bagpipes - but just where they make sense, like a scottish games and such. I think if I heard them more often might not like them so much.

I think the same. It depends on where I hear them.

If all you want to do is "bang" hundreds of different women, then that goal is quite achievable with not too much effort. However, a much greater and more laudable goal is to make each day special and each encounter magical with just one woman hundreds of different times. The second goal is a great deal more difficult to achieve, but the rewards are commensurately greater as well. Thrifty
