Well it is a huge upset.

2-2 after extra time and Japan has won the womens world cup in penalties.

The USA were useless at penalties missing all but one.

The USA team is phenomenal but they blew that game.

They had 19 shots on goal (before they finally scored in the 69th minute) and didn't get a score out of any of those. They could have been up 3 or 4 to nil. Ah well. It was a good and exciting game and life goes on.

Well, that tournament isn't going so well then, both Brazil and Argentina out with penalties...

(Edit): And Chile out too. Man...

Also, the Brazil game was just ridiculous. They got a fantastic chance every minute and could never make a goal. Not even in the penalties, for crying out loud. They were infinitely better. Like the Finnish commentator said, it was Brazil versus Villar (or whoever the goalkeeper was). And Villar won.
