Lots of songs, but if we're talking albums:

What a wonderful phrase!
Man, in JAPANESE? Do you understand Japanese or do you just love the sound of it? BTW you seen Appleseed? Great new CGI film. Just you put me in mind of the fantastic intro where after the battle, they fly off to Utopia and Basement Jaxx kicks in. Fantastic.

Nah, I don't understand Japanese (although I know the original text/german text by heart). But it sounds great! Also, "I'll make a man out of you" (from Disney's Mulan) sung in Cantonese and Mandarina by Jackie Chan rocks hard. That song usually brings me to tears (happy), when Mulan climbs up the pole and shoots the arrow. EDIT: I forgot to mention that I understand a little Chinese. I learned it not long ago - the problem is that it is mostly Business Chinese (Gongsi [Company], Numbers, rén [human], jingli [Manager], máng [to be busy], and the like. Note that I couldn't write all of the pronounciation signs, because I don't know how to write them on my keyboard.). Also, I am not very good at it yet. -

And of course, it'd help if I knew what CGI means. It's got something to do with computer graphics, right? .... in which case it's not the same thing that I have seen, even though it's based on the same story. (demons with some 9 shaped seeds, right?) EDIT: Oh, and Japanese sounds awesome. Totoro and Hack Sign soundtracks are two jewels.

I had to put Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral" back on the shelf, as listening to it over and over again while surfing the web was making weird...well, okay, weirder.
Since I wanted something a bit lighter without going for the complete system shock of ABBA, now I'm listening to Smashing Pumpkins "Siamese Dream". ScottMate

It's cool, because Masamune Shirow is a genius (well, an insane one, but still... ).

@Ninth - there was an Appleseed 2D movie, but it wasn't very good. Briareos had a mouth! And Masamune IS a genius. I wouldn't say insane, but just one look at the microscopic detail of his design work suggests that he might even have some mild form of autism or something.

Seriously though, as much as I was enjoying Trent Reznor's paean to the many moods of S&M-themed sex addiction, I have to maintain some semblance of normalcy at work and it doesn't do for me to picture cute customers clad in leather ensembles, as this tends to give me a faraway look in my eyes and makes me lose my concentration. The music I listen to at night affects my overall mood the next day, so I've learned not to listen to The Doors too much when I have to work the next day, either. I'll drag "The Downward Spiral" back out this weekend, but I'll stick with lighter stuff during the week. Scottmate
