uptimist : nice avatar. and i have one of those cards, stashed away
also - i'm currently listening to a paul mccartney dvd which my father is playing at full blast in the next room. [for the curious, the current song is "put it there," and the dvd itself is called "get back."] curiously, last night i was listening to roxette's first album, "look sharp." i think i'm going to find my copy of depeche mode's "playing the angel," now, though.

Just heard: Aphex Twin - Windowlicker (I'll probably listen to that track in like 30 years and look back with nostalgia on the electronic music of today )
Currently listening to: Aphex Twin - Alberto Balsalm (reminds me of the lounge music in the cafe in TLJ) Next on tracklist: Wynton Marsalis - New Orleans |

So do you still play? A lot? Anyways, right now I'm listening to Santana - Black Magic Woman. also, recently I've been listening to some very bad music by the world's greatest Finn, Matti Nykänen (well, one cannot listen to it much, it's pretty nasty). It's just too hilarious, and some of my friends sent me some... Also, I've been listening to some Frank Zappa. Like the Muffin Man. That's a great song. Oh, and his version of the Finnish "Satumaa"-tango (could be translated as "Wonderland") (he just gets the notes in a live gig, and plays them. It's great when he tries to sing the lyrics ). |

Santana - Migra
Does anyone here listen to Santana? Is there someone who doesn't even know Santana? And does anyone here know Jake Shimabukuro? (Edit): Now Santana - Revelations. One of the best songs by Santana, in my opinion, yet quite unknown. Last edited by UPtimist; 02-04-2006 at 08:57 AM. |
