John Scofield: This Meets That. Another great Sco side--totally recommended for Sco fans.
Floratone: Bill Frisell's latest project. Beware, it's weird.
Robben Ford: Truth. Good for die-hard fans glad that he's returned to the blues-rock arena. But for me, it lacks the fire of the past.

currently listening to the "solo album" of Kevin Drew, from Broken Social Scene.

Though it's not a proper solo album since he has most of the band with him.

Still - so far, so good.

Isn't Broken Social Scene a hodgepodge of band members from other established groups already?

Depeche Mode - Useless (K&D Session) from The K&D Sessions

I just discovered that Turisas have made a cover of Rasputin. That's humour all right but what the hell were they thinking when they made the video?

Anaal Nathrakh - The Final Absolution

How's that for death metal, Henke? These guys do the most brutal necrodeath stuff I have ever heard, and it is mad. It's like being hit by a truck twenty times a second, in a good way. I think I'm going to preorder the new album, since, well, according to the band "these songs are gonna blow everything we've ever done in the past and will make you want to actually smash your own face in." Sounds promising.

That band was new to me. Sounded pretty good, especially "Between Shit and Piss". Thanks for the tip, I will definitely check them out.

Haha, well, it takes some getting used to before you can actually enjoy it.
