The Draft - New eyes open. Gotta appreciate rock music that's as down to Earth as this.. no mascara, no fake bullshit, just music, please. That's what I like about it, it's not so complicated. Indeed!

I like it, but I liked Stop Wasting My Time even more. I love drums and bass.

The Golden Palominos - These Days

I've been out walking
I don't do too much talking these days
These days
These days I seem to think a lot
About the things that I forgot to do
And all the times I had the chance to

I've stopped my rambling
I don't do too much gambling these days
These days
These days I seem to think about
How all the changes came about my way
And I wonder if I'd see another highway

I had a lover
I don't think I'll risk another these days
These days
And if I seem to be afraid
To live the life that I have made in song
Well it's just that I've been losing for so long

I've stopped my dreaming
I don't do too much scheming these days
These days
These days I sit on cornerstones
And count the time in quartertones to ten
Please don't confront me with my failures
I have not forgotten them

I just ADORE that song, this cover version in particular, although Jackson Browne's own rendition is almost as beautiful.

Knee Deep in the Hoopla _________No Protection

This week, considering Scotsie's advice to expand my knowledge of a certain band, I've been mostly listening to those 2 albums by Starship. I found them quite enjoyable.

I just bought "Mika - Life In Cartoon Motion"

I absolutely love it, and I don't usually like pop albums

Oh, haven't heard that before actually. It's apparentally on the digital EP they released earlier this year. Actually I was listening to the album (in true physical form!)

The Get Up Kids - Valentine.

Eurythmics - I Need A Man (video)

Annie Lennox, hints of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield, trashy nightclub, durgs, femme de la nuit, and transvestism...

Gillian Welch-Hickory Wind

Norah Jones-She

I was listening to these and couldn't believe they actually had them on Youtube, that place is awesome.

Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At?

I love BJ! Last year I went to the Robbie Williams concert in the Amsterdam Arena and guess what? BJ did the pre-show!

Man that was a great night...
