The Codex by Douglas Preston

Have any of you read this book? My Dad and I are big Douglas Preston-Lincoln Child fans, so he picked this one up for us and said he enjoyed it. I'm three or four chapters into it and I'm already getting annoyed by plot holes and lame writing...is it even worth finishing, because I'm already disappointed.

Maybe Lincoln Child is the main man in the team. I haven't read either's solo books, so I couldn't say.

Could be, although from the book blurbs, both of Child's books seem to be about ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY GONE HORRIBLY WRONG! :Z
