And don't forget, if you have been working with onions in the kitchen, and want to remove the smell from your hands, first scrub them with salt (ordinary food salt), and then rinse them in clear water. But don't try to do the same with your already irritated eyes.

Hello from the usually rainy Seattle. It's actually a sunny Seattle these last couple o' days, apparently because we're in for a drought this summer. Finally, that forest behind my house might just decide to go up in a puff of smoke!
