Default "Electioneering" by Radiohead is an experimental song

I read this claim a while ago, and couldn't believe it.

I've never heard it. If it's like other Radiohead songs, then I wouldn't call it experimental.

As much the Radiohead fan that I am, I thought Electioneering was the weak point of OK Computer. Sort of like Radiohead does Shakin Stevens (OK, maybe not quite). Definitely not experimental though, unless I'm wildly missing the point.

I think it's a good song. It's not really experimental though. Just sounds like Radiohead trying to do punk/garage rock.

All is relative. If it was Britney Spears, then it'd be experimental...

Not really, if anything it was a step back for them, since Pablo Honey was full of rock/pop anthems like that.

On a seperate note I would love Britney to do a cover of Electioneering.

whoever said that has obviously not heard Kid A, because THAT'S experimental.
I mean it.

I like Kid A, but I don't think I'd consider that experimental. I've heard some experimental songs that are way out there, so I have a tougher standard.

It's an experiment in listener tolerance - and it failed.
