Blessed be the Wolpertingers, for they will feast upon the innards of unwary tourists in the forests of Bavaria! All hail the Wolpertinger!!! Don't you love the Wolpertinger? -

We have a different name for them, but I can't remember what now.

Jackalope? They are not the same. I am sure there are no jackalopes with 2 of four with being chicken feet. And Wolpertingers have wings (often upside down, though not this one) -

They are creatures that inhabit the lush forests of Bavaria. They lay eggs, too. Quote:
Don't let them fool you though; Wolpertingers are all but fictitious. They can be dangerous, and many a careless wanderer has fallen prey to it's nasty, BIG, POINTY TEETH. As for Jackalopes... -

To kill a Wolpertinger, you must either be brave, or foolish. Of course, you first have to catch one. The best method is to take a bag made from natural materials, and a candlestick and candle. Place the sack so that it stays open somewhere in an area where there are Wolpertingers. Put the candle in the Candlestick, and put it in front of the bag, or inside(this takes practice and should only be done by people with experience) it. Light the candle (this is dangerous if you put the candle inside the bag), and leave. Now, if you are lucky, a Wolpertinger will be attracted by the light, and end up in the bag. Now you should return, and close the bag, while the Wolpertinger is still distracted by the candlelight. Conga Rats! You caught a Wolpertinger. -

There also have been reports of people using a holy Handgrenade in order to kill members of a related species. However, those artifacts are rare, and have not been tried on Wolpertingers yet. It is not guaranteed that they would destroy the creature.
I am glad to announce that we still managed to find a picture of one of these artifacts. -

Another effective way to kill one of these buggers is to have it register to the AG forums and force it to read through the The Wolpertinger Thread. That's sure to kill it.
