I'm with that idea!

Um, anyone got a dandelion smiley I could wave. The recent cold snap seems to have done for most flowers near me.

P.S. Got any good Max Boyce photos?

...and every once in a while, they wipe the pile of dust of him and put him on a pedestal, like today.

(nothing personally, Tom)

Happy whatever? day to you too. I am so .

Well, today is Saint David's Day, the day when Welsh folk band together to celebrate their patron saint and their nationality, by wearing daffodils, singing Welsh songs and eating traditional Welsh foods. Fortunately, national costume is optional. I still remember the time when I lived abroad and my mother dressed me up in Welsh garb and sent me to school... the psychological scars remain!

Well, I'm more a Saint Patrick's Day fan, with my kilt and all...

Or by completely forgetting about it, and only realising when I walked into uni and saw all the lecturers wearing daffodil.

I had the best time thanks! I cooked up some welsh rarebit (glorified cheese on toast) and a vat of cawl, and had some friends over. (Btw, does anyone else find that they never seem to have enough forks for their guests on these occassions?) After a dignified meal, the evening soon disintegrated, with dancing around the kitchen to the dulcet tones of Tom Jones, and a little impromptu karaoke!

And it's great to be back
