A shot of New York's Times Square, taken on our trip last September. I remember it being far more crowdy than it appears here ...

I'm thinking about a gentoo-ish desktop for my next uppgrade, and maybe buing the cedega (cant remeber the name right now, it's one of those not remeber anything crossover winex super comercial thingy's) it sort of goes against the reason to use Linux, well from a opensource point of view, but I actually use it becuase I like it better then Windows and would prolly pay for it if it wasent free ..

I tried Sabayon, it's Gentoo based and very rock solid. We have had a few people here using Cedega but I would just use a virtual machine with XP on it before I payed for that.

Sabayon was what I was looking at to!, talked abit to the people on irc, how is the preformance of a virtual XP these days?
Considering the comon use of 3D acceleration, last time I used Virtual it had more of a a default frame buffer device and preformance for anything but office style 2D things where pretty horrible..
Tough wine has been working fairly good, minor problems like not being able to play Dragon Age properly was solved with a dual boot, every other game has more or less worked with only minor tweaks

I had a high end Pc and Virtual Box worked great. I never really run the high end graphics games on these though.

I stole that pic from the cover of Paulo Coelho's book. The quality is terrible, but it's a beautiful picture.

It's just a "check-up", haha! No big deal, unless she finds dental cavities or something like that, but it's very unlikely because I have a nice smile:

My current desktop is a concert picture of one of my favorite bands at the moment: Reincarnatus. The picture is from a concert at in the open air theatre in Valkenburg, including a choir so even the Gregorian parts were performed live. Their best, most enchanting show of the 7 I've seen this year. This picture is taken at the last lines of Love's Calling in the encore.

By the way, when I grow up I want a bagpipe like that!

I didn't take that picture (and my perspective was different: I was sitting a bit higher and more to the centre), but I definately agree with you. Which is why I made it my desktop
