I've got this one for almost 2 years now. Come to think of it... I'm running my Windows 2000 machine for 2 years without re-installing it. I used to re-install Windows XP every time after a few months, because of various problems. Until I decided to switch back to Windows 2000.

Mine.

I've never really seen the point in desktop images. I only ever see it for the 10 seconds before I open programs after logging in to Windows, or in the 10 seconds after closing programs before Windows shuts down, so why bother...?

I could ask the same about posting an image on this forum that only shows a blue area.

And not all applications fill the entire screen, man!

Yeah, occasionally. And Worms World Party. I spend more time on Counter-Strike: Source, though.

Oh, but most of my time I spend on developing a game. *cough* Of course.

You really need to play Worms World Party with the MIGC peeps. It's worth it just for the staggering variety of English swearwords you'll learn.

I think we play Worms Armageddon now though, but it's the BEST.

I'm very curious, how is your MSN messenger both set to appear offline and away at the same time?

Neither have I - generally we just say "wwp?????????" to each other on MSN.

Also, semprini?! I'm happy to be elucidated.

Visit Mess.be and get the Mess Pack (or something similar). It does a number of cool things, including removing the adds from MSN, and letting you run two versions of MSN at the same time, signed into different accounts. I use one for my personal account, and one for my 'Internet' account. Those of you that are on my MSN are in my Internet account

Here's my desktop at home. Just love that inaccurate Bay Area geography.

Somewhat tidier than my *actual* desktop... frightening, no?

At work I have Puss in Boots from Shrek 2 making saucer eyes.

I use a Mac at work.

Had to move all the super secret AG articles I'm working on off the desktop before I took the screenshot.

Fair enough, but how often does that happen? Command Prompt is the only thing I can remember ever being like that. I guess I'm too used to using sensibly-designed software
