twif, no, Spokes is the newest one. It's *cough* technically not out yet.

And try out Sigur Rós' (_) album. And, if you like it, Goldfrapp's first one.

Thanks, tamzinator. (tamzinating the countryside, tamzinating the peasants)

BTW, Marek, to make things simpler. If you are or want to be a jazz enthusiast, you don't own Birth of Cool, and are not currently on your way to the store to get it, you deserve to be shot.

(Sadly, I deserve to be shot. )

If you haven't already, you should get Kweller's cover of 'Ice Ice Baby'. It's excellent.

Has anyone seen Type O Negatives new musicvideo for the song "I don't wanna be me"? It's really funny. It's not like we haven't seen the idea before but it's especially funny none the less.

I listen too Doom Metal (like previosly mentioned 'Katatonia' for example, but not much), other kinds of Metal, oldies, classical and even Jazz.

Justified

Wow, how many sountracks!
Great soundtracks all of them (except "About a boy" but I have never heard of it so I can't tell). The Pirates of the carribbean soundtrack really rules. It's awesome.

More music!

I've wanted to hear some downbeat electronica for some time now, so I've decided to dig into it the last couple of days. This is what I found:

Crustation - Bloom. Amazing. Awesome. This is probably my favourite of the electronica things I've found so far. I had only heard a couple of songs before, but the whole album kicks ass.

Archive - Londinium. Very good as well, Headspace is awesome.

Other albums I really like is:
Thievery Corporation - The Mirror Conspiracy
Bonobo - Animal Magic (just listen to The Plug)
Dusted - When We Were Young
Nightmares On Wax - Late Night Tales
Cinematic Orchestra - Every Day/Man With A Movie Camera

And, of course, DJ Shadow's Endtroducing. But I already knew that it kicked ass. It has the greatest cover of all time, as well.

Anyone into this? Recommendations?
