Wow, this one is sure to totally devide the forum.

I'm deffinately a Cookie person...especially really soft freshly baked ones with loads of choc chips through. :9~

Pie...meh, not so much a fan.

We're going to have an all-out flamewar on this, but I choose the cookies :D And pies are for throwing at people!

Pies can be quite nice, but well-made (especially homebaked) cookies are quite simply delicious. There's some especially awesome recipes that my mum uses, that I believe are traditionally Swedish... and you aint seen cookies till you've been to a Swedish home for coffee. :D

This is hardest poll I've ever had to answer. I love all sorts of cookies, especially home baked ones, BUT nothing beats a home baked bilberry pie made with Finnish bilberries and vanilla custard on top. :9~

AFAIK you just can't buy pie at you local store and when you can, it's not as good as home made....
Home made cookies are delicious too, but the bought ones are yummy too!

I can't answer the question. It's too vague. For instance, if we're talking about chocolate chip cookies vs. chicken pot pie, then the answer is cookies. But if it's a choice between oatmeal raisin cookies vs. pumpkin pie, the pie wins hands down.

It's all relative.
