Good news: Woah! Shaun of the Dead has made it to Spain!
Bad news: They renamed it Zombies Party (A night... to die for)

I don't know if it's available in Oz, but you should try to get hold of "Spaced", a 2-series sitcom with many of the characters from Shaun in it (produced by Channel 4). It is not connected with Shaun in any way, but I think it is much funnier and much more subtle, with hundreds and hundreds of film/music/tv references built into it so it is really rewatchable. And the DVDs have more special features than any other DVD I have ever bought.

If you are interested in finding out more, THIS is a good place to start...

Well, here they renamed 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotted Mind' to 'If you break up with me, I'll erase you', which highly reminds how 'runaway bride' with Roberts and Gere was translated. So many people think that it's actually a stupid romantic comedy and they aren't going to see it. And those who are going to see it, expect a stupid romantic comedy and end up being disappointed.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaay to go!

Thanks Tim, I will be sure to check it out. I also watched a hilarious show from England on TV the other day, called "Little England". Really funny.

"Little Britain" it's called, but yes it is the hottest thing here at the moment on the comedy front, some of the characters are truly brilliant and quite influenced from League of Gentlemen (no bad thing).

The official site is HERE.

(I just love my links )

Whoa, there are still people who have to worry about region encoding?

If you have a PC DVD player, or anything more recent than the original DVD-Video players you should have no trouble finding a hacked firmware or region-changing method...

Yes, but R1 releases tend to be cheaper, and available at Costco

No, no, Donnie Darko should go in your 'don't ever go near this film, it's the most overrated thing ever devised' list.

I saw it pretty recently. It was pretty funny. I'm sure I would have liked it more if I was a bloke, though.

I am really surprised and happy that so many people appreciate the humour in Shaun of the Dead
It is, after all a british movie, and I normally seem to find quite a large cultural gap between British and American humour.
It's good to see this divide being shortened by such a movie
