yum!

- Is Daryl the shiznit or what?

- Is the little girl still alive?

- Should Lori (the main character's wife) finally eat something already?

Discuss!

Oh man, I've only been able to see the 1st season, but it is pretty cool. I love Daryl a whole bunch...and I'm still wondering if his brother is gonna pop out somewhere.

If you liked the 1st then you'll love the 2nd, assuming that incredibly discusting and gruesome kills equals fun time to you.

I'm a bit ambivalent about the show.

One the one hand it's great to see a comic book I love being made into a big budget TV show.

On the other they are straying a fair bit from the script, characters and situations of the comic.

The comic is notorious for killing off it's characters, nobody is safe, Rick in particular has been put through the ringer in the comic. There has been more than a few Oh SHIT moments in the comic series that I can't see them replicating on-screen.

I try hard to separate the properties and watch it for what it is, but it is hard.

Also will they just find that stupid girl already.

Cool series, but season 2 has been pretty dry so far (except for the first episode). Less drama/crying and more intense zombie-action, please ...

@Lucien21 - They're just doing their own thing: It worked with Kickass, Xmen 1st Class and, dunno, American Psycho (I know they're movies but you get the point). And I dunno about it being a "big budget tv show", it's AMC ffs ... I've read somewhere (probably IGN) that they were\are trying to cut off about 90% of the zombies -- instead of actualy seeing them we just ear their moans.

I think the 1st was all about quantity and now it's about quality. Like the bloated one or the hanged one, and who knows whats gonna happen in that barn.

This last one ("Secrets") was way too much like a mexican soap opera... such an awful episode. And those zombies are anything but threatening right now. At least Shane is starting to become a cool sob as of late but he still needs some cool weapon like Daryl's cross-bow. Maybe his massive earlobes.
