Kolzig and AGA are right on all their answers.
Kode is wrong for #29, and while your answers for #21 do work, there is a specific answer that you didn't guess that I am looking for on that one. Great job on #4 though. You are absolutely correct there. |

Perhaps Kode was trying to answer #22? His answer for #29 is my guess for that. Unless
Spoiler:is a real country... Some of those are really cryptic, though. For #18, is it Spoiler: |

simpson_yellow - Correct: 10,11,12,13,17,21,29. Wrong: 2,6,7,14,22,25
Your answer for #2, though not what I was looking for, was awesome. I didn't think of that when I made it. Good job on the correct answers though! Mares is right for #18. My clue is based on the secondary dictionary definition of the first part of the country's name, not the primary definition and is also a minor play on words. Bird is correct on #19 Bard09, your answer for #18 is a perfectly valid secondary choice, but not the main one I am looking for. Only 17 more to go if I counted correctly... As for #22? It is the hardest one on the list IMO. If anyone can answer it, they need to get out more. Seriously. I will be totally amazed if anyone gets it. |

Surprised that 7 and 25 were wrong. With 7, I was going the 'hops and barley' partnership giving a sound-a-like for Bali. Along the same lines: Spoiler: And I went with Chile as spicy beef. Hmm, any chance that: Spoiler: Also: Spoiler: |

simpson_yellow. You are correct on 2, 7, & 14 now.
Bird. Using google is cheating. Although, you are still incorrect. Last edited by Bastich; 03-25-2004 at 12:00 PM. |

These are all guesses I considered initially for the remaining countries but didn't write down (I love not being able to use Google!) They're probably incorrect because they use literal history instead of plays on words, but I figured... what the hey
