DVDs You've Just Bought

Okay, so we have a thread about music you're currently listening to, recent movies seen, photos you've taken, what you're currently eating and drinking and games (other than adventures) you've just bought etc. So I've decided to create one for people to list DVDs they've just bought. *

I'll go first:

* Knowing my luck the thread will die on its arse. :shifty:

Gah, I barely ever buy DVDs, let alone watch them :P

I think the last one was the Twin Peaks Gold Box set (all seasons + extra of course). But then again, this is about DVDs just bought. That was sometime last spring. A week after (or before, I'm not sure) Lena was in Helsinki, so maybe she can say more exactly (I know because she just missed the huge sale at Stockmann, where I bought said DVD box... I'm sure it's vital information when last spring I bought it).

Yes, we have a Recent Splurges thread already.

Erwin_Br 12-03-2009 09:27 AM

I'll play: I just bought season 3 and 4 of NYPD Blue. I hope they'll release the later seasons on DVD too.

Hm. Thing is with that is that it seems to be about purchases in general. Whereas this is specifically just DVDs.

Lucien21 12-03-2009 12:34 PM

I recently bought Star Trek too. And someone gave me The Prisoner for my birthday, which was nice of them.

(I pretty much only buy Blu-Rays and HD DVDs nowadays.)

Erwin_Br 12-03-2009 01:40 PM

Nice! Moon is such a fantastic movie! (And Star Trek too, of course)

Star Wars I-VI

Finally!

Intense Degree 01-20-2010 06:57 AM

Season 1 of the IT crowd. Probably won't mean a lot to anyone outside the UK but for my money one of the funniest series in a while.

UPtimist 01-20-2010 07:54 AM

Really? We've had it here in Finland at some strange hour or another, but from the clips I saw it didn't seem that great... Perhaps I should take a closer look then (of course, people might just have different opinions :P)

Man, I love HBO series!

Not A Speck Of Cereal 01-21-2010 07:22 PM

Love Spirited Away, and right on for Deadwood too.

My most recent splurge was "The Wizard of Oz (70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition) [Blu-ray]"
