You know, it's possible to use a picture you posted on the internet to track you down in security cameras wherever you move.
If you have access to the cameras (and the proper technology), of course. |

I am coming all though that means skipping an Indochine concert as I just noticed. Drat, bad timing. But well I just came from an Indochine concert so I'll survive...

But Maruca, you've been to two Indochine concerts already, and this get-together is a Mega Experience compared to those! You won't regret coming to Amsterdam, I'm sure!

So, it seems I will be able to attend. Rejoice, everyone! I'd need the exact date to know for when to buy the train tickets, though. April 10 or 11?

I know you keep your house clean. But it was a red couch. How could I resist?!

Tempting, this... I didn't originally realize it was such a short trip. So, theoretically, I could actually make it. Then again, probably not (maybe if this were in the summer..).
Still, I'm interested in what you're all going to be doing there (also, I think it'd be great if you all camped at Tsa's place)? |

I suggested to meet in Amsterdam because my place is almost 100 miles / 140 km from there, and in Amsterdam there is much more to do. But if someone really wants to see where I live then I guess something can be arranged. About what to do in Amsterdam: I'm not sure yet, but I would like to see an elaborate lunch or a dinner with us all in a nice and not too expensive restaurant. Afterwards or before that we could go on a boat trip through the canals. If you, reader, think you have a better idea then please let me know!

I plan to visit the Van Gogh museum and the house of Anne Frank during the days before the get-together and hopefully some garden with tulips.
For the get-together I like the idea of dinner and canal boat. I believe once we get together there will be lots and lots of chatting. A restaurant is perfect! We'll be flying with Ryan air and they have flights every other day from 'our' airport (to Eindhoven) which means our vacation will be between the 7th and 11th of April. I'm uncertain if Mr J is able to join us, but my daughter will come for sure.

For tulips the best thing to go to is the Keukenhof. As a second best, you can go to Enschede and visit my garden . I planted a lot of new tulip bulbs in October last year.

We've been discussing back and forth whether Mr J would join us to Amsterdam or not. He needs to work on both Wednesday and Thursday which would make it a weekend journey: Friday-Sunday. A bit short, but still possible to squeeze in some Van Gogh on Sunday morning. Hopefully there will be tulips in Amsterdam.
