The Profanity App that sponsored the Collings and Herrin Edinburgh podcasts if you want a fun range of socially unacceptible randomly generated insults.

Ok, let's take a look at my favourites (besides the ones by Apple)…
I assume you're already familiar with Monkey Island? Res i STHLM (Travel in Stockholm) - a program containing all bus and subway timetables in Stockholm. Not very useful for people not in Stockholm, but maybe there's something similar for your area? A couple of cook books, but they're in Swedish, so probably not so interesting to you. Frotz lets you play z-machine games (IF). Great program that gives access to many wonderful games (and even more not so great ones). Tap Tap Revenge 2 is a great rhythm game with lots of songs. Galcon is a simple strategy game that I've spent hours with, but I've only played the free "lite" version. Cleartune - a tuning program. Could have been better (the needle jumps too much) but it's good. I also recently got the game Spider, but I haven't played it much yet.

Zen Bound is beautiful. At $5 it's more of a pure puzzle game than a typical adventure game and good for meditative challenges. I love it so much I blogged about it: wrapped up in the moment | a space alien (embedded video) Ocarina is exquisite, turning your iPhone into such a musical instrument that wafts out your tunes with a haunting sound. But if you just want to listen to others it features a mode that broadcasts the playing sessions of your fellow iPhone owners around the world (above image, right). ocarina of beauty | a space alien

video of demo showing how it works Jeezus Finnegan Cripes, this app is addictive! I only got the free one (so far) so the features are limited (the full app costs $10), but it still does allow you to create and store individual grooves. If you're into techno, progressive, or other current kinds of beats it's worth playing around with this app. Screw with it for some time and you can get better at DJing. Hmm, wonder if I could set this up for next year's family reunion at Lake Tahoe?
