Default Dylan Dog

Anyone familiar with this comic? Dark Horse have released the first 7 comics in one album and I'm thinking about checking it out. There is a Hollywood movie coming out too but I'm cautiously optimistic about that one in order to keep the disapointment to a minimum. I don't think it will be in the same vein as Dellamorte Dellamore (Cemetery Man).

Being Italian, I basically grew up with Bonelli's comics (DD, Tex, Martin Mystere, etc.). The comics are good, old-fashioned horrors often with a neat psychological twist. The first issues were really great, but - as the series progressed - the quality deteriorated.

Aren't there like 200-300 comics or something like that? No wonder the quality deteriorated.

A friend of mine who collects the series told me that one of the characters was changed in some none-Italian version of the comic, I think it was Groucho. Don't know if that's true but if it is it sure sucks.

The official site for the movie is up, hopefully they will release a trailer soon. They have changed the setting from London to New Orleans which is fine by me (Gabriel Knight/Angel Heart anyone )

DD's on the market here, but where Italian comics are concerned I've always been more of a Mister No, Zagor, and Alan Ford type of guy.
