OK, I'll stop guessing your last name before you become worried for real! And yes, I Googled the phrase because it sounded vaguely familiar. Until yesterday, I'd never even heard of Jonas Gardell or "Tillfällig gäst i ditt liv"!

Well, it's the first and last name together which gets chuckles, especially here in Canada (à la James Bonds). My last name is one that most people need to see in print to believe! If you or anyone else is too curious, just PM me!

And let's try this little test to see which of us is truly the geekiest!

I'm going to apologise for kind of messing up Rex's thread and then try and get it back on course:

Colpet
Nick: 8. It's a word that feels nice to say (I know, I'm weird), though I don't know what it means.

User title: 9. Who isn't?

Avatar: 8. I don't know if it was meant to fit in with your user title, but it kind of does. Where is it taken from?

Signature: 3. Informative, but kind of boring.

I wrote little Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games for the TI-83 and shared them with my friends.

(Hey, maybe one of our friends with Super Mod Powers™ should move the Geek Test posts to a new thread...)

I smashed a calculator and tried to put it back together once...

... not as a child, either - quite recently.

Hmm. Actually, I might have had to do something like that myself if I had gone to public high school. Apparently, being home schooled prevented the opportunities for me to become a total geek.

Colpet comes from my business name - Colborne Street Pet Hospital.
I found my avatar by looking up Siamese cat images. I liked the way the cat is intensely looking at the bowl, just like me staring at my monitor for hours on end .
Giligan:
Nickname - 9/10. I loved the show. I could never understand how the Professor could invent so many gadgets, yet was unable to make a boat.
User title - 9/10. Quite philosophical.
Unfortunately no sig.

The Geek Test is now a separate thread.

Cold Topic

A thread most controversial, that’s what I want to start
Full of impassioned arguments, of posting from the heart
And for this stimulation all will be thankful to me
On come on everybody it won’t work if you agree

Thanks, step. My bad for inadvertently derailing the thread.

A: - I keep remembering the Beavis avvie, though. Not too familiar with Boards of Canada, maybe I'll give Twoism a try. 8
U: - Weird. Swirly. Different! 7.9

There's supposed to be a joke to that, but now I realize it's far too subtle, so I guess no one will get it anyway. I've put in "junior member" as my user title even though it would default to "intermediate member" or something.

And the avatar, I sort of drew it, you see, I shopped it, and then I traced that. The original is in deceased avatars thread.
