Taking theme cover requests :)

As some of you may know, i have a youtube channel where I upload game music covers. http://www.youtube.com/user/SixStringsGeek
Right now i started taking cover requests. If you want to listen to your favourite game songs on guitar or keyboards, post'em here..

The older the game, the better. It has to be a song that hasn't already been covered thousands of times. For ex: No monkey island theme song requests.

Personal favourite, Silent Hill 1 theme. Not exactly old, but still.

Battletoads. Specifically, the music from the first level, bonus level / level intros of the arcade version.

The menu theme from OMF.

I'd also suggest System Shock - operations D, but I think the original is mixed/arranged too well to mess with.

Well you've done one Castlevania cover, so why not another one? ;)

How about Dracula's Castle from Symphony of the Night?

What else but Gabriel Knight 3?

Of course aside from its main theme it also has some exquisite piano tracks, especially the two Montreaux's themes (and especially #2 (in the sound files named Nocturne Fast), but (I'm guessing) good luck learning that without notes). And, well, any song from GKIII really...

(I've personally always wanted to play some of those GK things on the guitar, but it's just too bad I'm not too good at copying melodies without any notes)

Or, if you want older, any other Gabriel Knight. Sins of the Fathers should at least have some very notable tunes.

Not sure how well they translate to the guitar (I think the GK3 main theme should at least work quite well as more of a ballad-type thing (or if that sounds silly, I mean slower))

Aside from those... Didn't Beneath A Steel Sky have quite a good theme? Morrowind did. I'm not sure if that would translate to the guitar or not. (Edit: although I'm sure they've been done a once or twice at least...)

(I'm just throwing ideas here, it's not like I'm requesting that you play all of these. I'm sure you have something else to do too :P)

Oh, wow... awesome...

Ah crap, this is embarrassing, I just remembered there's .mod files of the gravis ultrasound versions of all the music in OMF... which, unlike something like .nsf files, would probably be pretty simple to alter... to put a new spin on things as you're doing and/or make it more optimized for "taking a back seat".

Sorry about not thinking of that earlier.
