They both are beautiful! The first one looks sort of like an octopus that is hiding in the grass. Where did you take the pictures?

It's from my home town. There's a road (and of course sidewalk) to the right and water (though lower) to the left, that's a strip in between...

Hard to explain :P Anyway, my home town (Hämeenlinna), 100km north of Helsinki.

Brrr that looks like a cold town on Google Maps...

Ha! Wow, I hadn't seen that... Pretty depressing :P It's quite a nice town in the summer, lots of trees and such, but in the winter the whole country is quite, well, that.

Well, Street View gives an early autumn view, so it's much better :)

By the way, the place I was talking about is here (I hope the link works).

Both are beautiful, but I like the one where you can see the trees best!

I actually like the first one best. Has more of an air of mystery to it, imo.

Thanks a lot, everybody! :) Originally I didn't realize that the second pic was also so interesting, when I took it... But I've started seeing it in a more interesting light too :D

When I took the first one I thought it looked more like it was in a swamp than where it is, and I like how you can't really make out proportions so well either.

I have some Lost Crown related stuff incoming, but I'm still uploading to Flickr. Hopefully I'll be done today or tomorrow!!!
