That's interesting and I don't believe a word of it .

I'm really not making it up. That town actually exists. It's more of a tiny village, though, but large enough to require the phone books.

tsa, I have to say though that you and your father are two very nice men and not rude at all.
I would say its more rude that other nations have that habit of calling your teacher by the last time as some sort of marked superior.
I would say it's only good that us scandinavians can refer to a teacher with their first name which is often more personal than just the families name. People don't refer to you casually by your lastname so I am happy with this habit. I have been brought up in Cyprus so I know the differences, as its very strictly miss or mister but not by mentioning last name. The same with not using uniforms at schools I prefer much than the uniformal greek/european way.

The atmosphere is much better, it seems also scandinavian pupils are also more statistics than the more stricter ways that of other european nations. Our students may be a bit unstable and spoiled at times because they get away with a loot of stuff, but comfort is more important than shallow discipline in my opinion (Discipline is very good but not the way many nations handle it). In Cyprus students can repeat their years and thats just crazy!!

Very nice pics and video, bulldog. But who's Mr. Trunko??? (I guess "Trunko" is easier to say than Trunkyo! You could have used my actual first name instead, I wouldn't have minded. )

I hope you can post pics of the last-day party too!

The advantage of my username is that the short version of it sounds almost like the short version of my actual first name. ^_^ Personally I pronounce it "Jahz" not "Jazz", but it really doesn't matter - I've never been too pedantic about the pronounciation of my name, except when someone managed to mangle it into something completely different (The reason why my computer is called "Jeshka" is because the lady painting your name in Japanese writing onto bookmarks at the school fair seemed to be unable to repeat my name correctly, even though the other Japanese ladies manning the stand with her seemed to have no problems with it. After a while I simply gave up and said "Jeshka" was fine.)

Wonderful video, bullsie! The kids are so cute!

Well, would you believe my surname can be spelled with letters in my username?
