Hi guys :)

Do any of you if the justadventure.com site is down right now ?
for server maintenance maybe ?

I just tried to connect to the http://www.justadventure.com
and all I get is 'this page cannot be displayed at the moment'.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I checked a few minutes ago and got what you did, but it appears to be back now. Might have been a temporary server glitch or something.

Clear out your cache and try it again.

And how do I do that ? Is it the same as clearing out the internet temp files ?

You don't have to. There is something wrong with the site. I get a server not found too, and I had nothing in my cache. (Haven't visited JA in a long time.)

I believe so. Hmmm, let me try and see if I'm still successful getting on.

It seems to be slipping in and out of being shown. I can get it to show now.
But sometimes I can't get it too show at all...

P.S. I can't get to justadventure.com either.

I have emailed Val(one of the admins) and I have also PM'ed her about it. I also made a post in a thread about site crashing in the JA NEWS Forum about this.

I think she is going to email the server company to see what's happening.
Sometimes, I can go to the site. Other times, I can't. It is really annoying & irritating. It feels like the server Just Adventure is on are maybe being overloaded with hits or something like that.

I remember getting the same errors I described above when the Fallout 3 site were announced or when everyone wanted the Bioshock demo. Let's hope this is it, shall we ;)

Agreed on that one. War is never a good thing. If we can provide a forum fix here while JA+ are having their problems then it's hopefully all to the good.

May JA be back soon.

PS: Well, I just paid a visit to JA, I guess they solved the problem.

I support a clue-free environment most of the time. :frown:

Can't go to justadventure? Why, just come here instead.

But the two go hand in hand. Most of the time the admins are part of the crowd. We also try to make sure that the good crowd doesn't get drowned out by spamming trolls. We're just trying to keep here a good place to go really. If you enjoy it here then we must be doing the job properly after all.

The site justadventure.com seem to be working now, trhough - at least for me. Let's just hope it was a server overload due to something unforeseen, shall we :) ?
