The Trepsie Thread
Okay, a few of us have asked "where'd Trepsie go?" in various other threads--this thread is dedicated to the question.
He might be off sulking for some reason, in which case we should all ask him to come give us a hug. His last post was 06-11-2007. A month's a bit long for him. If someone has a personal contact, please ping him.

Plus, as jacog has pointed out, other people disappear for varied lengths of time. Karmillo has only just started posting again having last posted in April. Maybe Trep's just taking a break.

My guess is that Trep has waaaay more important things on his mind right now than spending time on the interenet. He was looking for a new job, perhaps he's got one that he wants to put all his energy on. Perhaps he got lucky dating.....
Nevertheless, I miss him and hopefully he'll drop in one day. I've also noticed that Trumgottist hasn't posted for quite some time. I miss him too.

Maybe he got a job. He was always going on about finding a job. Hopefully he found one and is happy now.

What? What makes that these forums then? Limbo for the unhappy people, waiting to achieve some real life luck so they can leave this place at the first opportunity?
Nah. He's probably busy.

Yeah, Trep's most likely very busy right now and tries to concentrate on other things and not let AG take up all his time.
You guys and gals do know that internet can very easily take quite a lot of time from your life?

I'm just as confused as the rest. I have sent Trep several emails along with several PM's and the only response that I got from any of my communications was “Bullsie, thanks for your note" and that was it.
I have also spoken to several people on the forums that are close to Trep and they to have heard nothing which leads me to believe that he either got that job he was chasing or he is taking another break from the forums. At any rate I hope that he is well and I hope that he is able to move through this barrier that is keeping him away. As for our other forum mates that are MIA I hope they come back soon.

I hope Trepsie comes back soon, too.
I also hope rlpw comes back soon as well. He said he'd be gone for a while, and he did post only in the Thread only a few days ago, but it has been quite a long time, and I'm getting worried. And I miss Daddy Paul! And I also miss Trumgottist. -

The problem with forums is that you can leave whenever you like without saying goodbye. Maybe Trepsie just didn't want to go here anymore. Or he has got himself a boyfriend and has his hands full. As for the others: I hadn't even noticed they had been away this long already.
How about we send them a 'We miss you' e-card? |

Isn't it normal to be really busy so you don't have any time over to check forums and the likes? I'm sure he'll be back. Wouldn't be the same without him.

Panthera doomed us all when she asked, in the "three questions" thread, if one ever worried that fellow forumites got hit by buses and never visited again as a result. No doubt good Treppie is roadkill right about now.

Anyway, Trepsie's still hiding in Nuremberg, waiting to be found. http://www.adventuregamers.com/forum...9&postcount=38

Stoofa hasn't been here in a while either. I don't think she saw her birthday thread.

If you do go ahead with this could you please not sign it as "From Eveyone at the AG forums" I know a number of forumites who've clashed with Trep in the past that are no doubt not missing him at all and it would be wrong to imply otherwise.
(I hate it when newspapers say "A whole nation mourns" for similar reasons. No-one should ever believe they can speak for an entire group unless they've consulted that entire group.)

I was thinking more in the lines of putting the names of all posters in this thread on it. I know Trep doesn't 'fit' on everyone on this forum.
I have gotten some some ideas during this day. I now have to go to a barbecue (jay! The first one in weeks! ) and tomorrow I'll make Trepsie something. So you have about twelve hours to post 'me too' in this thread if you want your name on the card ! |
