I am still around Jessie! I have just been busy setting up house so much I don't have internet hooked up yet. I will soon.

I will send Treppie a postcard and check on him folks. I promised him one from Texas anyways.

Firstly, there's good Trep. He posts intelligent and well-reasoned posts that add to the discussions they appear in.

I'd be more than happy to have good Trep back. Discussion with him can be a pleasure and is intellectually stimulating. Bad Trep I can do without. In fact, if bad Trep came back to the forums then I might be forced to take action against him (if certain behaviour is unacceptable then it shouldn't really matter who is doing it) and I really don't want to have to do that.

I must admit to noting a bit too much of bad Trep creeping through just before hsi disappearance (which saddens me because I know he's capable of so much better) Maybe part of the reason for him taking a break is to sort his head out because he doesn't like it when he gets like that either. I can but hope.

I haven't logged in in a while , but what the heck is going on here? Did something happen? The mods on this forum seem to be acting a bit mean spirited about this whole thing. I've never noticed Trep being nasty or unreasonable. He has his opinions, but what's wrong with that? I think some mods are entirely too quick to take personal offense to some of the things people say.
I almost hate to ask, but this doesn't have anything to do with the religion thread does it?

Well, to me it sounds a lot like personal feelings are getting in the way of objective moderating.

I don't think Step to whom I guess you were referring, was thinking about any thread in particular. He has a point about Trep's different sides. There have been times, not many though, he definitely crossed the line in what's appropriate. Perhaps that was before you started frequenting chit chat and that's why you haven't seen that side of Trep. Mind you, I like Trep very much -and I'm sure he knows it

- although I don't always approve of what he says.
