Dating advice
What to do if you're getting to now a new person through an online dating service and you find out that the name of someone interesting is the same as the one your ex (who was possibly weird and horrible in the end of the relationship) had?
Because I'm freaking out right now.

I understand how you feel, I cant go out with men who have the same name as my father or brothers or even exboyfriends. But maybe you are a strong person than me.

I assume your worry is that it's the same person?
I suppose it really depends how common the name is. If it's a popular name, then relax, it's probably a different person. If the name is more unusual, ask some select questions, that you already know the answer to with regard to your ex, if the answers don't match then it's unlikely to be the same guy. If you just want to cut to the chase, ask to trade pictures, it'll elimate all doubt in the click of a button.

Hey, at least if you actually develop a relationship with the guy, you won't accidentally scream out the wrong name.

Oh, well then you're just being neurotic, which is kinda cute.
It's just a name, you'll get over it. That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, 'n' all.

you'll probably associate the name with the new guy in time, which would be better for you (unless he's bad too)

Your only problem with your date is that he has the same name as your ex? You're in heaven.

Yeah, but does he seem to find the happiness he seeks, when they're out together dancing cheek to cheek?

I agree with Henke, if that is your only problem then it should be smooth sailing.

At least she or he is not thinking about stabbing you with a kitchen knife in the gut because I was seen having coffee with a friend of mine once.

I wasn't that serious with my concerns, just wanted to say something funny and generate some idle discussion about online dating and stuff like that
Dating would be going better if he was on MSN more often.
