Default Well...Let me introduce myself.

Sooooo... I don't even know what I should write here, and much less if that's the right section to post. But whatever.

So I'm altermativ, new to this forum but neither to adventure games or the internet, so that makes me...not too bad, I guess

I don't wanna bore you with my personal history, but here's the thing to know: I'll probably be posting again in here, and I'm currently creating an old-style adventure game (LucasArts style, baby!) as a school project. (I'll tell you more about it if you dare ask :])

Otherwise...I'm french, and this excuses most of the crap I could post. I hope.
So anyway.. Hello world.

Welcome!

Your name is groovy...if the m was replaced with an n, it would read Alternativ(e)...does your name have something to do with something alternative?

Ignore the local colour, altermativ. Otherwise, welcome to the wacky, lop-sided, yet small kitchen appliance friendly AG community.

Hello! French eh? Oh well, never mind. We've gotten used to Ninth (our other fellow member from Paris ) so another shouldn't hurt I guess. Just as long as it stops now - we don't want it to turn into an invasion.

Just kidding. Oh, and you'll find that the Americans on this forum are more intelligent than your average American (just how intelligent that makes them is still open to deduction ), so they tend not to be the anti-French mob you may have read so much about.

Have fun!

You got that right, pardner. Yeeee-haw!

But seriously, folks.

Salut, altermativ! I'm one of the hog-tied Americans Curt's referring to... and I LOVE France. I suppose criscrossing the place for a month can do that to you.

Nice to meet you, and I look forward to hearing about your game!

Now you come to mention it, Trep, me neither.

I tend to live off predominently Italian or Chinese food nowadays, with some German food thrown in for good measure (so long as it isn't sauerkraut or lunge ) and the very occasional visit to our favourite Greek restaurant. Chinese is my favourite, but that's for a whole other thread that existed some time ago. This thread belongs to altermativ, so........

(Trep) for straying off-topic.

You know, for some reason I really like British food. I would rather eat something completely plain and "uninteresting" than some of the crazy concoctions of some cuisines.

Not really, I could have gone on and on about my scientific experiences on space monkeys and the fact that my brother's now one of the best fire juggler ever.

Yeah, and eventually you'll be able to move on to the much more advanced text usage of "¬" as illustrated above, or as I believe Jake once called it, "ol' shifty cyclops."

I don't recall saying that. I think you're a liar.

Also, welcome to the forums altermativ!

Deny it all you like. Sooner or later, I'll dig up some record of it, and then I'll probably start a thread.
