Easter caution for pets

Just a reminder about the potential toxicities for pets during the holidays. Chocolate in sufficent quantities is toxic and all parts of the lily plant are poisonous as well. Please keep your pets safe this Easter weekend.

Oh, don't I know it too well.
Jaffa actually emtied a bowl of chocolates (including their wrappings) a couple of years ago during Easter. She got really sick and we had to take her to an emergency vet.
Thanks for the reminer Colpet. It's so easy to leave candy on the table where a dog reaches it without problem.

I got bit by a dog this morning on the way to work... I hope I'm toxic!

Someone hand me the uber-pan!

For the vicious dog that attacked me unprovoked, I assume...

In this country if you report a dog attack they automatically have the animal put to sleep, but I can't be bothered reporting it.

Does that include if the dog attacks another dog too? Just recently I read and article in our local paper about a pitbull shredding a small dog and in the turmoil also biting the small dog's owner's hands pretty bad. It was the second time this dog attacked and this time the owner decided to put it to sleep. Apparently it had to bite a person before someone took care of the obviously dangerous dog.

In this country if a dog attacks you just pull out your concealed firearm and shoot it.
God I love America.

So you have a concealed carry permit? Your family members too?

But ... just how do you conceal a double barreled shotgun?

Dale Baldwin 04-05-2007 09:05 AM

Same way you conceal a ladder, I imagine.

Don't we adventurers all know how to carry around insane amounts of stuff without using bags of big pockets? It's easy! Just stuff it in your jacket like Kate Walker does.
