I don't think the smileys would have helped. Recently you have started to sound like Kingz-with-lobotomy

I don't even know what superbowl is.

I suspect that it's because my true personality is coming out, or something. In reality I'm much more overbearing and cynical than I come off on these forums.

It's been my experience that the Super Bowl is the best time to go sledding as the hill is barren and you can try all the stupid stunts that could result in injusries if you were surrounded by people.

It just goes to show you: people are hazardous.

I've always wondered, who are the 1 billion that watch the superbowl? It was on at 11:10pm here so I doubt there were many UKers involved. I have my suspicions it's the same 1 billion who watch Baywatch...

And about this Breast issue, why on earth is it still in the news?? I'm still hearing about the "furore" today. Yes people, Janet Jackson DOES have breasts. Yes little Johnny probably caught a glimpse of one of them during the half time show. Is it going to shatter his little life and turn him into a sex maniac? No more of one than he was destined to be anyway.

Anyway I watched the first 10mins (does that make me one of the billion?) and have to admit I got bored. Maybe it's because I have no attachment to the teams or maybe its because I had little idea what was going on. Either way, I prefer Rugby .

It gets worse, Dom. The Superbowel ( ) breast affair is now the most searched event in Net history, surpassing September 11. Society has truly gone bonkers. BBC report

And as you'll see, Dom, the BBC (who I trust to give me the news despite recent events) claim that it was 100 million viewers. I think we'll find that our American "cousins" call 100 million a billion, whereas as we, the rather pessimistic Brits, refer to a billion as 1000 million. Maybe that's why the US has more billionaires. In fact, maybe they aren't really the richest country in the world after all.

Rugby Rules!!!! Which do you prefer, Dom, League or Union? I'm a Union man myself. Moseley and England.

Actually, in America we call a thousand million a billion. My use of the word was (I thought obvious) hyperbole. Sorry if it was taken literally, as that was not my intent.

Do you work for the US or British governments, BJ?

Oh, clearly not, you apologized.

hehe and a british billion is a million millions, curt was kidding

But the Billion figure I've heard before, I'm sure. I've just never gotten who it is who watchs it not (not because it's bad or anything, but because American football is unique)

Erkki, evidently the intrigue and publicity surrounding the breast is due to the growing credence being given to the belief that the halftime performance, ostensibly by Janet Jackson, was actually her brother Michael. If true, I guess now we know what happened to the rest of his nose.

What is so super about bowling? Is it really all that exciting to watch the pins fall? Although if there are breasts involved, maybe I should reassess my opinion of the sport.
