True love? He clearly said "to blave". As in, to bluff. Obviously they were playing cards and had an argument and they strangled each other to death.

I saw that on the news this morning. They said it looked like the man died from an arrow wound and the woman was sacrificed and buried with him.

Way to put a stop to all our warm an fuzzy feelings, Paulsie.

I think in this case ignorance might have been bliss indeed.

But I wanted to be an archeologist at one point, so I can deal with that. It's reality.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

You think we're making fun of you? I wasn't, and I don't think anyone else here was either. Besides, this is the internet. It's not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. Some of us are jaded about love. Some of us just like to joke around because it's fun. Not everyone thinks the same way or shares the same world view. Welcome to the AG forums, Sir Funk.

Eh, or maybe you're just happy because a bunch of people replied to your post. Hard to tell. Welcome, anyway!

It's just nice to read the replies. And also to learn from them.

Insane_cobra (nice name) is afraid of love. Must be his past.
RLacey is a little sarcastic or must I say realistic?
Bulldog is tough and not afraid of anything or anybody, but she hopes that someday....
And so on.

In general: Men are sarcastic and women are more romantic about this.

I know, I know: nothing new here.

And no one can offend me.

I am offendless.

;-)

And thanx for the warm welcome note artwking4.

Feel at home allready.

Don't let the others scare you.

"Yeah, you should save that fear for Mommy."

>>>I'll be quoting Mr. RLacey...Tibsie as my Good twin calls him...now, but: Don't feed the Loonies. And my good twin is the queen of the Loonies.<<<

"Actually, she's the Loony Empress of Jazhara Ludkannah Walborgd Onaga Seveen the First of the World. Mommy rules all of humanity, not just the loonies!"

That's right, Igrette. That's my little Foster Angeldragon child how I love her. You tell her. Jazhara666, dearest evil twin sister, please don't sell me short.

~~Gareay ddseaac atavfa arawa.~~

"Mr Grue says: 'My dearest ladies, I think I will once again refrain from joining in this quarrel.'"

Thanks for the translation, Iggy.

>>>I always wonder, does he actually speak in that formal way, or is that just your translation?<<<

"It's a direct translation of what Mr. Grue said. He speaks that way. Mr. Grue is a high class Grue!"

Welcome to the forums, Sir Funkenstein, and may the Balance protect you.

Oh, and please leave your sanity at the door. You will thank us later for it, trust me.

Don't say something like that, Hammykins! If she does that, she's not worth it.

*hugs Hammykins*

(why, thank you) Close, but no cigar. I'm not afraid of love, just cautious and prone to bad humor. And it's not only my past, but also my present (I have seen the future and it's safe from harm, phew!).

Welcome to the forums, by the way.
