...ssssssssssssSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssssss s...
Your wish is but my command: your ice cream is sandwiched between two planes of tin foil. I wish I could go back in time to correct just a few mistakes.

You correct the mistakes you didn't want to correct, while completely neglecting the ones you initially sought out to fix.
I wish I wasn't so bored.

Wooosh! You now have an Ice Cream Sandwitch. It's just that you forgot how sensitive your teeth are to cold. You have to wait until all the icecream is molten before you can eat the sandwich. I wish for another me so I could get more accomplished at work and in my private life. |

Suddenly it's "tomorrow", but you're caught in a time-loop and actually experiencing the same day over and over a la Ground Hog Day. I wish I don't have to babysit my sister's children tomorrow.

Kladam! You've been moved to Soviet Russia, where your sister's children babysit you!
I wish I didn't have to drive home, but could just instantly be there. |

Pling! You are now in the Netherlands, where the daffodils and crocuses are blooming already.

Ka-ching.
Cyan now have unlimited funds to develop Myst Online. They spend it on hiring all the best FPS and online RPG programmers making Myst Online the best FPS RPG in the world. I wish our computer network didn't keep going down on the last two days of our busiest period of the year.

Schwoooof!
You have so much energy you decide to clean my house as well, not realizing that my dog just started to shed/lose (expr?) her winter fur and it's ALL OVER THE PLACE! I wish my Star Trek Voyager season 4 would arrive in my mailbox tomorrow.

Your copy of Star Trek: Voyager Season 4 arrives, but disc 3 is missing, and disc 1 has cracked in half.
I wish that the graduate medicine entry requirements were easier. |

Zap! Your wish is granted. Unfortunately it rains sooo much, the city floods and everyone drowns.
I wish i could go back in time to my first year of college.

*Rwrwrwrigullugaloo!*
You've been sent back in time to your first year of college. That's quite a time jump there! Unfortunately, you made no jump in space. (It didn't occur to you that you might need to.) The Earth was in quite a different position back then. You're not even close to it. Goodbye. I wish I could speed up or slow down time for myself at will. |

Garglgargl flup flup.
You now can speed up or slow down time for yourself at will. Unfortunately, everything else's time is sped up or slown down too, so it doesn't make any difference. I wish the European Soccer Championship was over. |

I have used my newfound ability to speed up time. As you said, it affects everyone in the world. So the Championship is now over, though there wasn't time for anyone to actually win. Also, lots of people have missed lots of deadlines and your hair has grown too long to be manageable. But I was amused. I wish I could get the next twenty years' worth of superhero comics, so that I shouldn't have to wait a month between issues. |

Pfoooooooooooooooooooooooooo-SPLAT!
The next 20 years of every superhero comic drop on your house. Given how many are released every month this squashes your house (and you) flat and causes major devastation to much of the surrounding countryside. I wish all my work was done.
