Queen!

I like Thin Lizzy, but I absolutely LOVE Queen. I never got the chance to see them when Freddie Mercury was still alive, which saddens me...
(and while Paul Rogers is a great singer, it's just not the same without "the voice")

Tea or coffee?

Trumgottist 02-28-2012 12:10 PM

Tea. I don't drink coffee.

Dark or light chocolate?

tsa 02-28-2012 12:31 PM

Dark. With some Earl Grey. Oh yummie!

Science fiction or historic novels?

pointandcliklover 02-28-2012 01:01 PM

sci-fi

i like historic novels but sci-fi can be surprising........asimov for example

He he, I wonder why you chose those two alternatives....;)

tsa 02-28-2012 08:40 PM

Actually, I didn't think at all when I posted that but I see what you mean :).

Fantasysci5 02-28-2012 09:51 PM

You know, when I was younger, I used to think Fantasy and science fiction were nearly the same thing, hence my username. However, since then I've read sci-fi, and it just doesn't catch me quite like fantasy and dragons and magic and knights in shinning armor. I'll stick to Fantasy. <3

You didn't post another choice, so I thought I'd answer the same thing by not answering it. :P

Jelena 02-29-2012 12:31 AM

OK, to keep this game going I continue with:

tulips or roses?

pointandcliklover 02-29-2012 12:52 AM

Hi, sorry thought i did but my dell thought it would be funny to have a wobbler and not print what i typed.

Roses - i like blue ones

My choices were 7 or the ace of spades.

A lot of things combine both, though, and they're often closely related. Star Wars, for instance is both science fiction AND fantasy. Even the entire steam punk genre could also be classified as both, as can many other genres...
I take it you prefer *pure* fantasy? Or do you just not like *pure* science fiction as much, while anything inbetween goes?

Anyway, ace of spades, because I like the Motörhead song, and because an ace is a better card than a 7.

Shower or bath?

Fantasysci5 02-29-2012 12:10 PM

I like the magic and dragons in a medieval setting, so probably pure fantasy. I do like some sci-fi, but just not as much I guess.

tsa 02-29-2012 12:13 PM

I like both baths and showers but since I don't have a bath at home I choose bath.

Cooking program or show about how to mend a car?

Jelena 02-29-2012 12:35 PM

Cooking program even though I think there are too may of them. I still like watching Jamie Oliver because he's very entertaining: the way he cooks, how delicious the food looks and his charisma.

Football (soccer) or ice hockey?

tsa 02-29-2012 12:49 PM

No.

Amber's Blood or A Tale of Two Cities?

UPtimist 02-29-2012 12:49 PM

(Edit: Bah! Beat me by seconds and didn't even answer... Well, basically never even heard of either one, so "no"? Or then someone else answer that...)

Football, of course! Ice hockey is such a dull and senseless game...

Rowan Atkinson with an invisible drum or an invisible piano?

Two words: Red Dwarf. (If you count Star Wars as science fiction, then Red Dwarf counts too!)

Thanks for the links! I'd seen the drum video, but not the piano one. (I'll let someone else give an answer though.)

Spoiler:
But the invisible drum is clearly superior.

Red Dwarf is my favorite tv show, hands down, I don't care what genre it's in. It takes it's comedy much more seriously than it's sci-fi elements, though. :P

I don't like either of them so I chose none of them. It's a perfectly sensible answer.

Intense Degree 03-01-2012 02:30 AM

Here's what we do.

You are given two choices. You have to choose one out of the two and leave another set of two choices for the next person.

Still I love to see someone who's not afraid to bend a few rules! :D

None taken! :) And in my opinion you have to bend a few rules every now and then to get ahead in life.

TimovieMan 03-01-2012 03:27 AM

Let's get this show back on track. :D

Rowan Atkinson on the invisible drums is clearly superior.

"And the winner is..." or "And the award goes to..." ?

Trumgottist 03-01-2012 03:57 AM

And the winner is…
(It simply flows better.)

A painting or a photograph?

Jelena 03-01-2012 08:09 AM

A photograph.

Big city or countryside?

(I've definitely asked that question before.)

Intense Degree 03-01-2012 08:25 AM

(but I haven't answered it at least!)

City

Holidays Abroad or Holidays at Home? (i.e. same country)

Jelena 03-01-2012 09:56 AM

Holidays abroad!
I love going to other countries, trying out their food, observing what kind of architecture there is etc.

High heels or sneakers? (wear or observe, you choose)

tsa 03-01-2012 11:22 AM

Sneakers. I like the natural look.

or

http://www.itsnature.org/wp-content/...08/03/goat.jpg
?

Trumgottist 03-01-2012 01:01 PM

They're all cute, but I'll go with the white ones. (Had black lambs been an option, that had been my choice, because that's how Gotlandic lambs look before they grow up and turn grey.)

Sheep or cows?

Fantasysci5 03-01-2012 03:14 PM

Sheep. I think sheep are sooo cute.

Dogs or cats?

tsa 03-02-2012 12:17 AM

I like sheep too. The lower picture is a goat, and actually I meant "Sheep or goat," but indeed you hardly see the difference.

Cats, but not in my house and garden!

Rabbits or guinea pigs?

Jelena 03-02-2012 12:54 AM

Rabbits for sure!
I really don't care much for guinea pigs.

Men or women?

Trunkyo 03-08-2012 07:52 PM

Men, because I'm one of them, the last time I checked. ;)

Dos Equis Guy...
http://www.eatmedaily.com/wordpress/...6/mimitw-1.jpg

...or Old Spice Guy?
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_RKzQLIUiGF...0/Diamonds.png

Fantasysci5 03-09-2012 10:25 AM

haha Love that 2nd dude. "Look at your man, now look back at me. Then look at your man, back to me. I'm holding diamonds." lmao :P

Mediterranean cuisine or Asian cuisine?

Difficult one. I'm very fond of Italian food, but the rest not so much. And I really like Asian food, just not too fond of Japanese (sushi ain't my thing).
But I'm going to go with Asian. It's also spicier, which is a big plus! :D

Rare, medium rare, medium or well done?
Or for those who are more comfortable with the French variations: bleu, saignant, Ã* point or bien cuit?

diego 03-11-2012 09:49 AM

Medium or well done. I somehow lose appetite when there's too much redness. :r

Thick or thin pizza crust?

tsa 03-11-2012 01:27 PM

I like those pan pizzas, although they are probably not as healthy as the normal Italian ones.

Calzone or flat pizza?

Jelena 03-12-2012 10:14 AM

Flat pizza

Shrimp or clams?

tsa 03-12-2012 10:17 AM

Shrimp. Lekker!

Squid or octopus?
