Let me put it like this: In the beginning of the summer I love the sound of the seagulls. Towards the end I hate it. ;)

Early dinners or late dinners?

tsa 05-29-2009 10:22 AM

Early. That leaves time for a fun evening.

Have your own company or work for an employer?

Giligan 05-29-2009 02:27 PM

Have your own company. I'm just discovering the joys of having a boss.

Inline or radial?

tsa 06-16-2009 12:52 PM

Radial.

http://www.nextnature.net/research/w...ora_rabbit.jpg or http://www.popularpets.net/guinea-pi...guinea-pig.jpg?

bulldog 06-16-2009 01:07 PM

They both are cute.... but since I'm short... there is noway I could reach (a) or I will have to choose (b). The long hair guinea pig.

Cookies or Cake?

tsa 06-16-2009 01:28 PM

Cake! Mmmm...

By the way, a) is not a sheep but a rabbit! It's an angora rabbit, the fur of which you can spin wool from. I think both animals are to be pitied. The poor rabbit can't even use its ears properly, and it can't see anything, and the guinea pig is not much better off.

Surviving: the Bear Grylls way, or the Ray Mears way?

Oh well ok.... thank you... I didn't know that (a) was a rabbit..... I didn't even know there was such a thing as a angora rabbit.

I pick Bear Grylls.... he is easy on the eyes and I dig that accent :9~:9~:9~

Intrepid Homoludens 06-16-2009 05:14 PM

bulldog 06-18-2009 04:26 AM

Pancakes or Waffles ?

tsa 06-18-2009 05:59 AM

Pancakes. And not those jucky thick American ones but the flat 'European' ones.

Raw, salted herring:
http://www.elsevier.nl/upload/65952c...ppen200(1).jpg

or sour herring:
http://www.lammertbies.com/weblog/wp...ure-haring.jpg

MikeLXXXVIII 06-18-2009 01:24 PM

Hmm I think I would prefer the sour than the raw one, I guess the sour thing is very close to that norwegian lute fish (not that I remember how that tasted like).

You can only pick one of these pokemons according to professor Elm so choose wisely :O

Trunkyo 06-18-2009 08:51 PM

I choose... Chikorita!

Now, should I visit Italy, the boot-shaped country, or Norway, the crinkly country??? :D

tsa 06-18-2009 09:34 PM

You should visit the under water country! We have absolutely awesome herring here.

Should I stay or should I go?

Karrel 06-19-2009 01:25 AM

You should go.

Walking through a cooling breeze on a warm day, or snorkeling in a lake?

Squinky 06-19-2009 09:38 AM

Snorkelling is cool and all (when I'm not inhaling salt water by accident, anyway) but today, I feel like a walk.

A university degree that's slightly boring but useful in the real world, or a degree that's very interesting but won't help you get a job?

Trunkyo 06-19-2009 04:05 PM

I already have the first one (although it wasn't actually useful until five years after earning it :shifty: ), so I'll pick the second degree, one in xenoarchaeology!

Docs (Doc Martens), Crocs or Birkenstocks?

Squinky 06-19-2009 04:28 PM

Birks. Usually while wearing socks. :)

Beaches or hot springs?

Hey, you can have a side of Giligan any day. :D

And considering the summer weather in Kentucky, you'll have plenty of Kentucky Fried Giligan. :P Not the appetizing kind, though.

Well, I was planning on visiting Europe sometime in the near future, starting with Norway, and take lots of pictures of crinkles... er, I mean, fjords. :o And if I had time, I'd also want to meet as any European AGers in person as possible!

OK, I pick blue.

Now, where should I send my giant robots to cause all kinds of chaos and destruction... New York, Tokyo, or Oslo???

tsa 06-21-2009 09:04 PM

That's not a funny question Trunkyo.

The next stop would then be Sweden. Or why not gather at tsa's place in the N.L for an AG party. I have plans on going there next spring.

Perhaps we'd better ask him before we start inviting people. ;)

tsa 06-22-2009 04:58 AM

That would be nice! But I think be'd better meet somewhere more in the middle of the Netherlands if we are to throw a party.

Fantasysci5 06-22-2009 05:10 AM

I envy you guys, getting to travel so often, to everywhere. You guys must be rich. :frown:

And back on topic; Send them to Tokyo, Uncle Trunk! No offense to Tokyoians. lol I just like "Godzilla". But instead of chaos, give them all flowers! lol

Hmm...early morning or late night?

Late night! I'm an owl, as anyone can tell by my Chit Chat posts from way after midnight. :Z

And about my special brand of C & D, it's usually more chaos than destruction, more aggravation than devastation, and no one ever dies (except maybe collaterally, e.g. heart attack from shock. :frown: )
*Watch for the upcoming NEWSFLASH!*

The Amazing Race or Survivor?

Not at all, I'm just in another phase of my life than you are. Remember, I'm in my middle ages and have worked for more than 20 years.

I guess Survivor since the other one is unfamiliar to me.

Chocolate ice cream or strawberry ice cream?

tsa 06-22-2009 06:41 AM

Oooohh!! Strawberry! :P :P :P Strawberries are the best things in Summer.

Another summer question: Ice cream with yoghurt and fruit or ice cream with syrup and fruit?

I consider myself rich. I have (well, had) a good income, no kids, a cheap house, and no expensive hobbies. Last year I went to Sweden, but the ten years before that I haven't been on vacation at all thanks to my health. That's good for your finances but not so good for your state of mind, believe me. Luckily I feel much better than 5 years ago so I can do more fun stuff again.

It's all about saving up and enthusiasm!
I understand it can be very costy to cross the atlantic ocean *thats why the US is the last place I am visiting :p *
In Yuuroop you can get pretty cheap decent prices to travel across countries so its very approachable

That would be awesome! I do want a reason to go there, as I have seen a bit of Belgium. So I can compare the two countries :P

Well, being a college student (which I love bringing up) means I'm extra broke, but ever since I was small and in elementary school (okay, maybe a little exaggeration), I've been saving up money to go to my dream place...England! Everyone knows how much I love England, and I've saved up $3,000 for when I go over there. I wantedto buy things over there, though, not spend it all on the travelling and rooming. But to travel England, to see Cornwall, etc, is my dream. :)

Hmm...I don't like fruit, but I'll have to pick the ice cream.

Go to your dream place (England for me), or not go, because your significant other is sad that you will be leaving for so long, and you don't want to loose him/her?
