Default Uk Web & Mini Comix Thing 2007?

So.... is anybody going to the Uk Web & Mini Comix Thing 2007?

I'm pretty hyped up over all the people going there! More and more people are going, and it's seems I'm interested in meeting!

It's on a Saturday but I'll probably arrive on Friday because all the other flights are too inconvinient... And I'll probably visit the Forbidden Planet comic store while I'm there...

Does anybody know any good hotels in the area, or at least which hotels to avoid?

Anything?

Never been to London, unfortunately. I could lead you to the Forbidden Planet and other interesting shops in Edinburgh, but that's a little out of the way

Less than a month to go!

I've yet to find a retro gaming store there!

There are several Gamestation stores in London. A quick Google search for "gamestation london" will give you maps as well.

Are they trustworthy? I bought NES game at one at Birmingham and the game didn't work no matter how much I cleaned it!

It depends. They shouldn't be selling stuff that doesn't work (you could complain to Trading Standards if they have done and refuse to issue a refund), and I've bought second hand stuff from them several times in the past.

It would probably be best to test anything you buy before taking it home, though. If that's at all possible.
