Old cartoon, and it's killing me!
 

Okay, this is really killing me because I really can't remember.

It's an old cartoon show in 1980s. The setting of the story took place in a Wild West town. The hero was this Native American who was the Sheriff. And his horse was made of metal. I can't remember if it was a Japanese animated series or an American one.

Can someone please ease the pain of my brain and tell me which cartoon was this??? I know that at least one of you guys will definitely be able to tell me the answer.

Funnily enough, as they're releasing Transformers: The Movie this year, I stumbled upon this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472429/. Someone's actually making a Voltron movie???

While we're at it, this show was pritty... cool.

He-Man? Surely a girly like you should have watched She-Ra Princess of Power (and Adam of Eternia's sister)

And are you really trying to defend The Care Bears? They were so sickly my teeth ached just watching them. :crazy: :P

Now, the Gummi Bears (bouncing here and there and weverywhere, High adventure that's beyond compare) Now you're talking. :D

Bravestarr was OK but short-lived.

Yeah, the Gummi Bears are much better, actually. And I wasn't that much of a fan of Bravestarr. I preferred the Ghostbusters (the ones with the Gorilla).

And I loved watching He-Man! She-Ra was soo....pinkish sparkly.


Also, I loved, loved, *LOVED* the Aladdin TV series by Disney! And my favourite chararter was Moze (Mozenrath)!

He's the best villain *ever*. He's much smarter than most villains, and much smarter than Aladdin and his friends. They usually just win out of sheer luck against him. And he barely looks a day older than Aladdin!

They don't make cartoons like they used to. My bf and I got to talking... he was saying that, "Yeah, I miss all those cheesy 'moral-of-the-story' the used to have by the end of the show." Come to think of it... yeah! Nearly all those cartoons had them... especially He-Man! Hmm.... big beefy guy talking about "the moral-of-the-story"... gotta love the 80s!

He-Man, She-Ra, Voltron, Transformers, Carebears, Smurfs, Jem, My Little Pony (hey, I'm a girl, okay!!!), Bravestarr, MASK... what gems. My bf, my brother and I watched 'em all.

Can I not grow up???

Could be just me, but after a while it seemed to be such a hip thing, to crowbar all kinds of moral crap into otherwise perfectly okay entertainment shows that, in the right mood, I felt like slitting my throat and jumping out of the window at the end of each episode of FAMILY MATTERS. At least Al Bundy taught me the really important lessons in life without any of this. Still, Urkel ruled, hmkay? :D

New Texas? There's not even a reason to visit the Texas we have now!

GI Joe/Action Forces had the best moral stories at the end of the shows.

Man, 80's was so filled with cheesy animated action series that were made to just sell toys to innocent and not-so-innocent children.

And I loved all those shows. :)

And don't forget classics like "Mysterious Cities of Gold" (only saw one episode, in french, but I loved other cartoons by the same guy, and this one looked good too), "Ulysses 31" (that's the one by the same guy as "Mysterious Cities of Gold". This one I loved watching), and "Captain Future".

And listening through my collection of TV Themes, I should also mention "Captain Planet", if only because it was probably the most obvious piece of green propaganda. :P But we all watched it at one point or another, did we?
