Yes. Yes he was. Every time he pulled another "amusing" expression I wanted to hit him with a large hammer. I can still hear his grating voice as well.

Deekin Scalesinger, Kobold bard of NWN fame. He's adorable! And awesome, especially when you multiclass him to Red Dragon Disciple in HotU. -

The Thread™ will die.

I remember Mysterious Cities of Gold. I had one episode on video, and watched it a whole load, though all I remember was them needing to complete some medallion to get their ship thing working. That and a boy running down corridors for what felt like forever .
Great stuff . |

That's because the German version had a different set of music than the other countries got. It has to do with the voice track and the music track for that series having been one and the same, at least in the version that the German guys got. So they had to redo everything, and they did an awesome job of it. -

Yes, Voltron, that was the one I was trying to remember! Thanks.
Not to denigrate Thundercats, one of my all-time favourites. I made my own Thundercats T-shirt (because they didn't make any adult-sized ones) and have the complete sticker album. And even the much-sought-after Thundercats comic No. 1, though not quite in mint condition after my budgie got at it. Everyone posting in this thread will enjoy the X-Entertainment website. Go there now! (Leaves, humming "Go Speed Racer, go Speed Racer, go Speed Racer, go") |

Oh anyone remember that Dungeons and Dragons cartoon? The one where a group of kids went on a ride that threw them into a medival world and just about every episode they would find a way home but ended up letting someone else use it go get home?
One of the guys from that reminded me of the guy from Dragons Lair

First time I've ever heard of this. Must have been made during that whole Conan/swords&sorcery/D&D hype in the beginning of the 80s?

I've heard of it, and there's actually a reference to it in Baldur's Gate II, I believe (the pictures in the Adventurers Mart). But I don't think it ever reached Germany, though I always wanted to watch it. -
