unfort we're not online yet, and it will still take a couple of days... our new server company seems to be taking forever to set us up, which is not a very good sign (so don't be surprised if we move again!)... i would say at this point that we should be online around wednesday, but i've been wrong before so don't take my word for it!

btw, cultura, what exactly is that 'hijacked' page that you saw? the www.justadventure.com url is actually down, and our old ip, in case you somehow have it, is gone... i can't seem to find anything like what you described

I've seen it too. It's gone again. But like others said, it's just non-working links (reviews, wt, forum, etc) and casual game ads.

It is still online.

The URL is: games.justadventure.com

which pops up automatically as soon as I hit the old marker on my desktop.

Hey, that's interesting. Is this an 'official' JA webpage? Aya?

I think it's one of their subpages with the casual games on it. None of the other links (to the forum, main page, etc.) work yet.

"JA Jones": When your favorite AG site goes down and you find yourself rummaging around other AG sites looking for familiar avatars and not finding many, so you give up and go back to your AG game and finish it in record time, then start another, and finish, and BURN THROUGH THEM ALL!!

Okay, not all, but I'm finishing them quicker.

This reminds me of when my internet connectivity went down in December for 10 days and I not only didn't have access to JA, I didn't have UHS, so had to finish the games without hints (and did, learning a valuable lesson about how lazy I can be when hints are available).

Out of curiosity, since I don't know anything about JA's technical operations, do you guys have any sort of backup solution in place?

yeah, we do, and we're following it right now... hope there are no more setbacks... cause if there's a murphy's law, we certainly obeyed it to its fullest so far!

Oh yes, good old Murphy is very much alive and well. Unfortunately. Best wishes to a healthy return soon!

But to get back on topic, Aya, can you give us a new estimate of when the site will be accessible again?

Heh, sounds familiar. Although in my case I've been doing more NES and SNES gaming than adventure gaming.
