1. Do you watch South Park ?
I used to. 2. How often do you watch South Park ? I guess I watched it once a week. 3. Why do you watch South Park ? I watched it because it was funny. 4. What themes would you consider especially interesting ? I liked the humor and how they addressed real life issues. 5. Do you, by watching the show, get any impressions about American society ? What kind of impressions ? Not really, but that's because I live in America. 6. Do you get any impressions about American family life based on the series ? Same as above. 7. Who is your favorite character(s), and why ? Don't have a favorite. 8. Who is your least favorite character, and why ? Cartmen, because now he's different from the way he was in the earlier seasons, and he's just annoying instead of funny. 9. Do you see any similarities between yourself and some of the characters ? Which ones, and why ? I've never felt a connection to any of the characters. 10. Could you draw any parallels between American life as it is portrayed in South Park, and life where you live ? In the show, the way adults behave in regards to raising kids is similar to what can be found in real life. 11. Have you noticed any stereotypes in the show ? Name a couple. Kenny's family basically being hicks, the cop being dumb, and the mayor being incompetent. 12. Do you have any additional, positive or negative, impressions and opinions about the show ? The show used to be funny in the earlier seasons. These days it seems that they've run out of issues to talk about and only make dumb jokes. |

1. Do you watch South Park ?
Yes. 2. How often do you watch South Park ? Whenever there's a new episode (which I tend to watch on Youtube since I have no other way of seeing the show and am cheap) 3. Why do you watch South Park ? Because it's incredibly smart, funny and relevant. 4. What themes would you consider especially interesting ? They cover a lot of interesting topics, from consumerism to war to metrosexuality. 5. Do you, by watching the show, get any impressions about American society ? What kind of impressions ? Yes, mostly negative ones (see question 4). 6. Do you get any impressions about American family life based on the series ? Um, this looks suspiciously like the previous question. Basically, I get impressions about how Trey and Matt see American family life. I think the Mormon episode gives a good insight into a very American life style (and by this I mean that it is something almost exclusively American, rather than something that defines America on a large scale). 7. Who is your favorite character(s), and why ? Randy, because he has questionable morals and makes for an incredibly funny patriarch of the family. 8. Who is your least favorite character, and why ? Stan's sister, Kenny's family, the bus-driver (good riddance) and a couple of others. Mainly because they're all simple one-dimensional characters that got old very fast. 9. Do you see any similarities between yourself and some of the characters ? Which ones, and why ? I think Stan and Kyle represent a lot of kids growing up and I've always felt that I possess some of their traits (or the other way around). 10. Could you draw any parallels between American life as it is portrayed in South Park, and life where you live ? Yes, but answering this question will be annoying so I won't. 11. Have you noticed any stereotypes in the show ? Name a couple. The show derives almost all of it's humour from stereotypes (gays, Jews, goths...) 12. Do you have any additional, positive or negative, impressions and oppinions about the show ? It's the only thing on TV that I still make an effort to watch. They do a good job of adapting it to the times and so it never really gets old. Also it's funny to see people shit their pants after committing suicide. |

1. Do you watch South Park ?
Sometimes. 2. How often do you watch South Park ? Not that much, I usually use YouTube, DailyMotion (sometimes Paramount Comedy). 3. Why do you watch South Park ? It's funny, and the creators are obviously making it for their own enjoyment, instead of trying to make a fortune. 4. What themes would you consider especially interesting ? One that jumps to mind was the episode that takes the piss out of Paris Hilton, that actually delivered a positive message (in an awesomely funny way) 5. Do you, by watching the show, get any impressions about American society ? What kind of impressions ? I get more impressions from how some Americans feel that it is evil than from the programme itself. 6. Do you get any impressions about American family life based on the series ? Not really. 7. Who is your favorite character(s), and why ? I find Cartman the funniest, but the baby with the weird mouth absolutely wins this round. 8. Who is your least favorite character, and why ? I don't really watch it enough to know. 9. Do you see any similarities between yourself and some of the characters ? Which ones, and why ? I find I have some similarities to Stan and Kyle. 10. Could you draw any parallels between American life as it is portrayed in South Park, and life where you live ? No not really. 11. Have you noticed any stereotypes in the show ? Name a couple. Yes. Gays mainly. 12. Do you have any additional, positive or negative, impressions and oppinions about the show ? It hasn't sold out or declined in quality (*cough*SIMPSONS*cough*), which is a good sign.

1. Do you watch South Park ?
Sure do 2. How often do you watch South Park ? Whenever I'm home while it's on, about a few times a fortnight I guess 3. Why do you watch South Park ? It's funny and based on current events/debates 4. What themes would you consider especially interesting ? They're all equally interesting 5. Do you, by watching the show, get any impressions about American society ? What kind of impressions ? That your average American is quick to judge, impulsive and shortsighted, not that much different from any other country though. Another thing is that Isee America as a nation of extremes, no boring middle ground. 6. Do you get any impressions about American family life based on the series ? No 7. Who is your favorite character(s), and why ? Cartman, but only because I like to laugh at him. 8. Who is your least favorite character, and why ? Mr. Hankey, I can't stand that...thing 9. Do you see any similarities between yourself and some of the characters ? Which ones, and why ? No 10. Could you draw any parallels between American life as it is portrayed in South Park, and life where you live ? Only the fact that both America and Britain contain scary christians 11. Have you noticed any stereotypes in the show ? Name a couple. Kyle's parents 12. Do you have any additional, positive or negative, impressions and oppinions about the show ? I like it how the show never takes a stance towards one particular side of the debate in question (except for when taking the piss out of scientologists but who cares about them anyway)
