Default My last year's school work

This is one of the reasons of my recent absence... it took a team of 13 peeps and around 6 months of work, it's not the perfect that it should be but I'm pretty proud of it. It's called Después de la Feria (After the Fair) and base on a Dylan Thomas short story.

Please note that the site is under construction yet.

That looks extremely (and I mean extremely) professional, Jaf. Very, very nice.

The big guy reminded me a little of Shrek.

Very impressive. Best of luck!

Jaf, this looks great! Very nice characters&settings, also good animation (especially faces- subtle, effective) and storytelling. Are you planning to send animation on some festivals?
Btw, what was your part? Modeling of settings i suppose? If so, my hat goes off to you, as they are amazing!

Very, very nice. I like the facial animations very much, like when that guy thinks of the merry-go-round.

What tools did you use?

Amazing work, Jaf! I loved the facial expressions and the camera work.

Looks really good. How long is the entire movie? 13 people working half a year is a very big project and it looks great.

It wasn't intended, really.

I did mostly settings, texturing and lighting...

Maya and Photoshop, all the textures are hand painted and scanned.

That *is* the actual movie It's not like we are a company like Pixar, we were just students, and some of us a bit lazy...

I figured, though the name "trailer" is a little misleading.

I thought it was a bit short too, to be honest... but then I downloaded the wmv and watched it again and realized there was much more. The streaming version cut off just after he closes the door.

Anyway, great stuff! Congrats!

That's odd. It didn't cut off for me, and I viewed it streaming.

That was great! Although why didn't the small child (forgot if it was a boy or a girl) want to eat, but wanted to ride the carousel? I thought they were hungry?

Superb animation, really very well done.

I look very much forward to your next project, and you should definately consider putting something together for an animation festival, if not sending that piece off.

A job very well done.
