1. Well, I'm very easily swayed by compliments and genuine displays of kindness. Artistic talent demonstrated in a heartfelt way is quite sweet too. This one old flame of mine wrote me a poem once, and I still have it to this day.
2. Sure, particularly the former. If she doesn't find that sweet, well, she's just not worth it.
3. Sounds like you're living in some sort of adventure game.

***

1. When you're feeling down, what's the best thing a person can do for you?
2. Do you ever find it hard to love and respect someone who disagrees with you on certain issues?
3. Do you ever find yourself astonished when someone loves and respects you even if they don't agree with you on certain issues?

3. What is your favourite colour?

1. I don't eat white potatoes anymore, but yams and sweet potatoes...I like steaming or baking those and sort of mashing them in the shell...
2. I prefer soft poached, but I can't make them without messing them up so usually just go sunny side up...
3. If I have to pick a favorite, it would have to be brilliant, flaming scarlet. This was my favorite color when I was a kid, then I became partial to green and purple, now I'm partial to red again.

1. Do you use xylitol?
2. Do you ever buy green bell peppers and let them turn orange, rather than paying for the orange peppers straight up?
3. What's up with big movie corporations starting "independent" film production companies? For example, Warner Independent Films. Isn't that an oxymoron?

1. No.
2. No. Does that really work well?
3. I wasn't familiar with WIP, but after visiting their site and reading the about text, it seems like a nice idea. It's good if the big movie companies keep an open mind for different things, even if it's only open a little bit.

1. I usually answer that question with "green", but I don't know how true that is. I don't really have a single favourite colour. I could pick a worse colour, though. Being red-headed, green clothes usually fit me, and a lot of nice things in nature are green.
2. Glasses. I find the idea of putting things in my eyes... well, it's not something I'd like to do. My eyesight is pretty good, though. I see better without my glasses than some people do with theirs. I still like to have my glasses, since I like to see well.
3. I don't. I'm more of a tea drinker.

1. Yes, I'm playing Gabriel Knight Sins of the Father. I'm on Day 3.
2. That's a wide question. I really can't define anything that applies to all people.
3. I just finished Olycksfågeln by Camilla Läckberg. Excellent crime story.

3. Sadly, no. Most of the books I've read lately have been for school.

1. Usually hits here around September-October-ish... fine by me.
2. Hmmm, kinda sorta, in a small way... I like darkness, but longer days in summer do seem to suit me better.
3. It's ok to wish for anything nice. (place long fillysoffikal dishkussing here)

1. Yes!
2. Yes.
3. All depends on what is is I suppose. Others don't necessarily know what's best for you, but then you might not know what's best for you either. Perhaps go with your gut feeling, but apply some common sense... if the two conflict... let 'em duke out till you are sure.

1. Oddly enough (oddly, since I'm working with music), I still usually prefer to play music unless I really need the silence.
2. I'll go with Swedish Radio P2, but I would have picked Yahoo Launch if it had not required Windows and IE.
3. Usually not. It can even enhance the reading experience sometimes. I have a memory of such an occasion. I read The Lord of the Rings in my early teens. On Tuesdays we had band rehearsal, and that meant that I had an hour or so to wait after taking the bus in to town. I often spent that time sitting outside the rehearsal room reading. A saxophone quartet played, and the song they played fit very well with Tolkien. Now I think of middle earth every time I hear it.

1. Lots of hand washing, proper diet, exercise, and saunas- oh and avoiding other people helps, but that's not always feasible or desirable.
2. cook, write, play, pontificate, joke, blab
3. No, but thank you. When I was at university I overdosed on carrot cake. It was perfect carrot cake with thick cream cheese frosting and I'd have a slice every afternoon with a latte. One day I got tired of it and I haven't eaten it since.

1. Diva, Oh brother where art thou, The Piano, Manhunter and The Bridges of Madison County. I'm not sure about the last one. But it did put tears in my eyes and that doesn't happen very often.

2. Midsummer Eve

3. By car. I wish that wasn't the case, but living on the countryside I'm very dependant on the car.

  1. Paris. It's not the only point on my list, but it's currently my first.
  2. Jodie Foster (no, not in a John Hinckley kind of way--I just want to talk, is that okay?! I admire the woman. Oh, I want her to have my children too, but there's no hurry there.)
  3. You didn't ask for a single cause. I would give to many. I would build funds for scholarships, I would donate to orgs that work to battle disease in 3rd world counties, I would work to build basic education and higher standards of living in same, I would try to fight the seemingly unbeatable battle against homelessness in the US, and I would give support to environmental causes the world over. I would also support politicians on that last point and others.
  1. Do you care to visit Alaska? If so, where?
  2. What is the #1 cause you would support if you were a money bags?
  3. Name the number one place on the planet you want to stay away from.
